Playful and Golden Acer are closely matched on recent form but both may have preferred quicker ground while the drop back to the minimum trip may not suit Campbeltown. Bow Bridge was disappointing at Goodwood but has the ability to go close and the ground here will suit. TABARET just held on to win a Listed event at York latest and with the two closest to him having won Group races next time his form looks solid. Danjet was in front of him recently and has to be considered for each-way purposes while Jeanmaire may also offer value in an open race as she drops in trip.

Mutamared was dropped to this trip for the first time when moving to Kevin Ryan's yard, he has also been gelded and found sudden improvement to beat a competitive field recently. He is a live contender here, as is Ice Planet who won in fine style at Ripon latest. Both are unlikely to offer much value in such a competitive event, so it may pay to look further down the market. JOHNSTON'S DIAMOND gets a tentative vote in the hope that he can reproduce the form of his latest win in a classified event. Colonel Cotton could fare better and should be considered along with Border Music and Golden Dixie.

Judd Street has finised in the first three on every start this season and only narrowly failed to follow up his Lingfield win when dropped to this trip at Sandown. He looks like a solid each-way bet today along with Kings College Boy who is holding his form well. PTARMIGAN RIDGE has been far from disgraced in stronger company of late and gets the vote. He has done all his winning with some cut in the ground and a decent price could be available. Divine Spirit is hard to win with but won't be far away while Piccled was third in this last year and could again sneak a place.

Everest has been in top form recently but his below-par effort in a competitive claimer here yesterday is a cause for concern.
