Golden Ambition justified favouritism in good style when recording a double at Lingfield on his latest outing and he should give a good account off a 6lb higher rating. However, CIRCUIT BREAKER gets the nod. The son of Nathaniel was impressive when victorious on his first start over hurdles at Kempton before being beaten into third in a warmer event next time. Judged on each of those efforts, he could be capable of defying an opening mark of 118. Just Lucky Sivola completes the shortlist.
This could be competitive for the numbers and JUST LUCKY SIVOLA gets the marginal vote after opening his account at Hereford last time. Golden Ambition is improving in blinkers and poses a major threat, while Gotthereintheend is of interest making his first start for an in-form stable.

JAMES DU BERLAIS has competed in hot handicaps on each of his last five starts, including when second in the Topham in April. If he can bring that level of form to the table, then the eight-year-old ought to go close. Iroko was not disgraced in the Turners at the Cheltenham Festival in March and merits respect after filling second at Haydock on his seasonal return last time. Fil Dor can beat Jungle Boogie home for third.
A tightly knit and high-quality minor race in which a case of sorts can be made for each of the quartet. Preference though, is for IROKO, who could hardly have shaped better when second on Haydock reappearance and he could end up in the very top company this season.
