This looks a fine opportunity for LEIBA LEIBA to break his duck at the third time of asking. He's been second in his two starts so far and has very little to find to land this. The Best Mode, well beaten at Chester last month but dropped in class today, looks the one for the forecast, while Dotty Darroch, third on her debut at Musselburgh, and Newmarket fourth Blade Pirate, who also drops in class, could go close.
Leiba Leiba sets a clear standard and should be hard to beat, but he has traded very short in running on his 2 starts to date and not got home. Volcanic Dust, who showed some promise in a stronger race on debut, is therefore put forward as a sporting alternative. Dotty Darroch could again reach a place.

Some fairly exposed types contest this but CRUISE CONTROL has put in several good efforts this year in handicaps and might be up to landing the spoils today back in maiden company. Rebel Woman is running better than her form figures would suggest and rates a real danger while the unexposed Macanta, the experienced King's Sabre and Summers Target, who drops in class, could be capable of making the frame.
Cruise Control has been doing enough of late to think he has a race in him, and this looks a good opportunity. Macanta and King's Sabre could be the ones to chase him home.

Resplendent Nova scored over 7f on the all-weather at Southwell three starts ago but looks to have plenty of weight on his best turf efforts last year. Faithful Duchess looks a progressive sort and drops 5lb in the weights. She has sound claims but preference is for MISS KITTY GREY, who returned to form over this C&D this month when a close second in a similar contest. Off a 4lb lower mark today, she should be capable of going one better.
Miss Kitty Grey ran well here last week and is 4 lb lower this time, but her overall record isn't a consistent one and she is taken on with Faithful Duchess, who faces her easiest task so far. Many Welcomes should run much better than on her first 2 starts this year returned to this track.

It's hard to dismiss the claims of the hat-trick seeking COLLECT ART. He found it tough going in better company at the start of this year but since being dropped to this grade, has scored over this trip on the all-weather at Lingfield and here this month. He carries a 6lb penalty but looks open to further improvement. It's A Mans World scored comfortably at Carlisle last summer and would have claims if rediscovering that form while Via Aurelia and Whotsit are not out of it.
Collect Art may still have more to come and he is taken to complete his hat-trick at the main expense of It's A Mans World and Via Aurelia.

This should go the way of the progressive DEACON BLUES, a maiden winner over 6f at Leicester last back end. His been placed in both his starts this year and, although up 3lb now, drops in class and still looks open to plenty of improvement. Fantasy Gladiator ended last year with a double on the all-weather but he has never won on turf and looks to have plenty of weight now. The talented Angus Newz takes a drop in class here and cannot be ruled out off this handicap mark.
Deacon Blues and Fantasy Gladiator are still open to improvement, though the latter is without a recent run and it could be worth taking a chance with Street Power, who is potentially well treated on turf eased in grade.

Prince Yarraman is a consistent sort but is proving hard to win with. He drops to this grade for the first time, however, and must be given a chance, along with Sultan's Choice, who won in this grade at Catterick last summer. Preference, however, is for MNARANI, who put in some good efforts in handicap company but struggled when stepped up in trip. Back over this distance in a Wolverhampton claimer this month, he finished a close second and can go one better today in this company.
Mnarani returned to form tried in headgear last time and could be the one to be with in a weak seller. Brave Decision and Always De One are other possibles.

In a wide-open contest, it might be worth taking a chance on the veteran LIBRE, who has finished second here in his last two starts. He looked held over this trip last time but is 21lb lower than his best winning mark and his last three efforts suggest he might be returning to something like his best form. Drum Major has been well held in four starts this year but looks reasonably treated on his best turf form while Bere Davis and Guga make appeal.
Guga ran well in selling company last time and a reproduction off this mark may be enough. Drum Major may yet do better for this stable, while Naheell has place claims once more.
