Jarlath idled when hitting the front over the extended 2m here last time and, although he held on to score, he may be worth taking on over this longer trip. Preference is for KINARI, who romped to a seven-length victory over 2m7f here in June and may have found conditions a shade too slow when beaten into second at Perth latest. If ridden aggressively, he could go well over this shorter trip. The Snappy Poet has won here over timber and is worth a market check on his chase bow.

Chasing debutants SKY LINO and Fact of The Matter make more appeal than those with prior experience over the larger obstacles, particularly the first-named, who's bred for the job and left the impression there's more to come in a handful of hurdling appearances. Kinari is the solid one having been thriving when last seen in July, but his mark may have caught up now.

Angel Face has been knocking on the door over longer distances of late and wouldn't be winning out of turn if this drop back in trip enables her to find the improvement needed to score. Of more interest, however, is SOLSTALLA, who was beaten little over two lengths over C&D in July and backed that performance up with a solid second at Fontwell last time. Triple Flat winner Cosette is worth a market check on her hurdles debut too.

RAILWAY VIC showed signs of life when fourth over the extended 2m5f at Newton Abbot last time and if he can build on that performance he probably has a leading chance here, despite racing from 2lb out of the handicap. Slieveardagh continues to slide down the handicap and appears well treated on his best form, while it will be interesting to see if Danceintothelight or Limpopo Tom show sudden improvement now eased into 0-100 company.

DANCEINTOTHELIGHT is probably in better form than his recent form figures suggest and is worth chancing from a further-reduced mark in a less-competitive handicap. Slieveardagh isn't getting any younger but he has a chance on the pick of his form, while Present Trend remains lightly raced and could have more to offer.
