EXCEEDANCE remains a useful prospect and can break his duck at the third time of asking. Bryan Smart's juvenile only found the smart Fulbright too strong on his Musselburgh debut back in May and made a reappearance full of promise when fourth at Bath just over two weeks ago. Sent off favourite both times, he is clearly held in some regard and this sharp 5f should prove right up his street. Crazy Too caught the eye at Yarmouth and can do better, with Launch On Line rating best of the rest.
Despite being a beaten favourite twice already Exceedance looks worth sticking with. Littlesuzie wasn't far behind him on her debut at Bath despite being badly hampered, while Crazy Too is going the right way and should also be thereabouts.

This won't take too much winning and the one who gets the verdict is SASSANIAN. Nikki Evans' gelding proved himself a decent hurdler in the early part of the last jumps season, winning in good style at Sedgefield most recently, and he returns to Flat duty racing off what could prove a very lenient mark. His fitness has to be taken on trust, however, so the consistent Locum and Kickahead are certainly not ruled out.
The consistent Locum seems sure to be bang there again, particularly with Paul Hanagan on for the first time, and Kickahead wasn't far behind him on his recent comeback, but it could pay to side with the less-exposed Dhampas who did well to last in front as long as he did last time.

Since scoring at Goodwood back in May, The Dancing Lord has proved a shade disappointing and didn't cover himself in glory when well held here last time. He has to be respected at these weights but ADRANIAN is the safer bet. A winner over this C&D three starts back, he has run well in fair nurseries since and should appreciate this drop in grade. Of the others, Persidha makes most appeal with Hanagan back on top but she was bitterly disappointing at Brighton latest and has promptly been dropped in class.
Persidha is the form pick based on her best effort in maidens and should be better still at this trip. Le King Beau and Dickens Rules are also contesting their first seller and command respect.

The experienced Tortoni ought to make his presence felt again but he has had a few chances now and slight preference is for JOHNNO. John Hills' Excellent Art colt showed improved form when fifth in a Newmarket maiden last time and a repeat performance may well prove good enough here. Andalieb was sent off favourite at Leicester on his second start and ran well enough to finish fifth, although handicaps may prove more his bag after today.
Tortoni came within a whisker of shedding his maiden tag on polytrack last time and has a good chance of actually doing so here, though Johnno, Hey Fiddle Fiddle and Andalieb have all promised better to come.

Starstuded could find herself well treated off an opening perch of 62 and the booking of Hanagan suggests she will be worth a close look in the market. However, at this stage, the safer option would appear to be PRINCESS GAIL, who has been in really good form around here recently and seems sure to lay down another bold bid. Last-time C&D winner Shelovestobouggie makes up the shortlist.
Shelovestobouggie comfortably got off the mark over C&D last time and holds every chance of following up. Loves Theme won twice on polytrack earlier in the year and encouragingly returned to form at Yarmouth last week, while dual course-winner Princess Gail is another to consider.

A few in with chances here but GRITSTONE did it nicely when winning around here last time and despite a 5lb rise in the ratings, Richard Fahey's well-drawn gelding is fancied to go in again. A better draw would have put Elijah Pepper near the top of the list, but he could struggle from his wide berth and making more appeal are Snow Dancer and Lockantanks.

Expect another big run from Ghufa, who has been knocking on the door of late, but it could be worth taking a chance on WAAHEJ. Peter Hiatt's charge was a fair fifth in a Pontefract handicap most recently and his penultimate Kempton third puts him right in the mix here. A previous course winner, he just edges the vote ahead of Spring Secret who has dropped down to a handy mark.
