QUESTIONNAIRE made a debut full of promise when finishing a good fourth in a decent York maiden and she is fancied to open her account. This daughter of Iffraaj seems sure to improve from that initial experience and armed with the plum draw, there is plenty to like about her chance. Another with sound claims is recent Kempton runner-up Manoori and another bold bid will be expected from her, with Hygrove Gal completing the shortlist in an interesting opener.
Manoori and Hygrove Gal are the pair to concentrate on, with clear preference for the former, who is proven on the surface and open to further progress. Crystallus didn't get a chance to show her true worth on debut and needs monitoring in the market.

Insolenceofoffice sets the standard on the back of a string of placed efforts and his most recent Pontefract effort suggests he should be capable of getting off the mark sooner rather than later. Lady Mango has shaped with promise on her two starts and warrants respect but a chance is taken on LADY KILDARE, who will be at home on this turning track, having twice finished in the money over this distance at Catterick earlier this season. A good third in a Musselburgh nursery latest, she is the one to be on returning to maiden company.
Insolenceofoffice is sure to play a big part in this maiden, but he's been found wanting in a finish before and is opposed with Lady Kildare, who was a solid third in a Musselburgh nursery last time. The return to polytrack looks a positive for Lady Mango, and she can make the frame.

The Richard Fahey-trained Stanley Rigby is sure to prove popular, given Paul Hanagan's pursuit of the jockeys' title, but Richard Hughes can edge him out again aboard LOCUM. The Dr Fong gelding produced his best effort for quite some time when giving Danceintothelight most to think about at Catterick on his latest start and having dropped to a handy mark, he is fancied to resume winning ways. Last year's winner Leyte Gulf arrives in good form and is another to consider, along with recent Kempton victor Tower.
Both Tower and Leyte Gulf have AW wins to their name in recent weeks, the latter also successful in the corresponding race last year, and should be on the premises again, but it could be that Stanley Rigby improves enough on his first start for Richard Fahey to beat the pair of them.

Hanagan and Hughes will be fancied to figure closely again aboard their respective mounts, Pick A Little and Silence Is Bliss. However, this looks stronger in depth than many sellers at this venue and SOVIET SPRING is taken to hold sway. Andrew Balding's colt has done nothing but improve on each of his three starts so far and found only one too strong when sent off favourite for a Kempton maiden last time - form that should be strong enough here. Of the others, Yorketa catches the eye.
Soviet Spring remains capable of better and, dropped in class, could prove too strong for Yorketa and the consistent Kissing Clara.

Saeed Bin Suroor has a terrific record at Dunstall Park and has enjoyed a good deal of success here recently. With his string in excellent form, it seems fair to expect a bold bid from Moonlight Dash first time out, while Hartforth, who was much improved when second in a Redcar claimer last month, must be considered as well. However, LORD OF PERSIA is perhaps the safest best, having only narrowly failed to land a C&D handicap just over two weeks ago. His claims are rock-solid and he gets the verdict.
Saeed Bin Suroor has an enviable record with his 2-y-os here and Moonlight Dash makes plenty of appeal on debut. There's little to choose between Lord of Persia and Hartforth on form, and they look the most obvious threats to the Godolphin runner.

A repeat of BLUE MOON's nose second over 7f here last month could well prove good enough. Eased in grade slightly, Kevin Ryan's grey filly has proved adept on the Polytrack and appears to have been found a decent opportunity. Inpursuitoffreedom comes into this in the form of her life following quickfire soft-ground successes at Yarmouth and Newmarket. However, this surface is sure to offer a different challenge, while Orpen Arms has a little bit to prove, having not been seen since finishing well in arrears at Beverley on her latest start back in April.

He gets a tentative vote.

The Irish raider BARNDEH hasn't excelled over hurdles recently but was in good form on the Flat when last seen in this code and he could be worth chancing, racing off what doesn't appear too harsh a handicap mark. Barliffey has to concede weight all round but his recent form marks him down as a big player again. He is the most obvious danger to the selection, although recent Kempton runner-up Knockdolian, Colonel Sherman and Straversjoy have all achieved enough of late to mark them down as possible contenders.
Knockdolian showed he had a handicap in him off this sort of mark last time and can get his head in front here, at the chief expense of Straversjoy and Barliffey.
