ANTHEMIC (2) only has the one win from 16 starts but has finished in the top three on a further eight occasions. Likely to be giving them a start but with a little luck can get another win on the board. SAN MAURITZ (4) has filled a place at his past two starts. Should be at his top following two runs from a spell and must be respected. COUNT OF CARFORD (13) has been racing on the synthetic tracks of late and performing reasonably. Back on the turf here and he should not be dismissed. LAST HOPE (3) was a little plain last time after filling a place at Donald in his previous outing. Is worth another chance.
