Richard Hannon has been enjoying an excellent season with his juveniles and he has another live chance with the experienced DR GREEN. After three starts he's beginning to look exposed but he was only a nose behind the Chesham runner-up, Sonning Rose, in a good maiden at Goodwood last time and he had two subsequent winners in behind. Any market confidence behind the newcomers Ocean Drift, Harry Luck, Brave Battle and Aquilifer could be significant.
Ocean Drift and Clever Man are a couple of the more interesting newcomers, but Dr Green sets a good standard on his third at Goodwood last time and can get off the mark at the fourth time of asking.

A tight contest and a chance is taken on Dane O'Neill finessing the classy, but quirky, ASSET to the front at the winning line. The three times Listed winner has been called some names in the past but he's been running against high-class opposition so should benefit from the drop in grade. The Rectifier and Aldovrandi re-oppose after finishing second and third respectively in the Listed Heron Stakes at Sandown last time and as the form has been franked they appear to be the most likely threats.
The 3 form picks, Asset, Georgebernardshaw and Ordnance Row all carry risks of one sort or another, so the lightly-raced Aldovrandi could be worth chancing.

Rileyskeepingfaith and Golden Desert arrive here off the back of fine efforts in the Wokingham last Saturday and both have serious claims. However, in a wide open contest a chance is taken on the progressive WILDCAT WIZARD. Paul Cole's gelding is well drawn in stall 16 and has been knocking on the door in some decent handicaps of late. Both Drawnfromthepast and Northern Fling are well handicapped after returning to form last time. Thebes and Parisan Pyramid are others to consider.
Signor Peltro was unlucky again at Goodwood last time and seems sure to return to winning ways before long, but the unexposed Cockney Class gets the nod ahead of him here, with further improvement likely after just 4 runs. Rileyskeepingfaith is another to consider.

Free Agent, Strategic Mount and Magicalmysterytour are all returning from a lay-off, but all appear on interesting handicap marks so any significant move in the market could be telling. However, in a field where many are bringing questionable form to the table the unexposed THE FONZ appeals as the most likely winner. Sir Michael Stoute's 4yo was rather unfortunate to be caught near the line at York last time and with the winner franking the form he looks well handicapped at present.
Magicalmysterytour caught an improver of Sir Michael Stoute's in Warringah when runner-up in this race last year and it could be a similar story with The Fonz here, but Willie Musson's charge goes well fresh and he is chanced to go one better this time off a reduced handicap mark. Record Breaker is another who can't be written off either.

THE WEE CHIEF has been steadily progressing this season and he was unlucky to get no sort of run at Goodwood last time. Jimmy Fox's 4yo is still relatively unexposed and he should have more to offer in this company. Christine Dunnett's 3yo, Danzoe, has been crying out for a return to six furlongs this season and he rates as the main danger. The consistent Dvinksy and Kyllachy Storm cannot be ruled out in an open contest.
Ginobili is dropped into a 0-70 handicap for the first time and, if repeating the form of his runner-up efforts earlier in the year, he should be able to resume winning ways. Dvinsky and Kyllachy Storm could be the ones to chase him home.
