It was disappointing that IF YOU SAY RUN was beaten at odds of 2/7 last time out but it is far too soon to be writing this mare off. She had won her first three starts, including an Irish point-to-point, and she can get back on track today. Passing Call has been knocking on the door of late and should be in the mix once again, while Drinks Interval and Presenting Pearl complete the shortlist.
IF YOU SAY RUN proved a bit of a disappointment when turned over at very short odds at Ludlow last time, but her debut promise remains intact and she is taken to get back on track. Passing Call should be winning races over hurdles sooner rather than later, while Presenting Pearl has shown fairly useful form in bumpers and is one to consider now switching to timber.

WAIT FOR ME does not appear to relish chasing and it is no surprise to see him return to hurdles this afternoon. The seven-year-old contested some of the best 2m handicap hurdles last season and appeared improve when stepped up in trip at Sandown in April. A mark of 142 should still be workable for a horse of his ability and Philip Hobbs has trained the winner of this race twice in the last four years. Bastien and Persian Delight are unexposed types who cannot be discounted, while any market support for Kansas City Chief would have to be noted.
It may pay to side with SAFFRON WELLS, who is shaping up nicely for Colin Tizzard. He looks on a handy mark and with Mitchell Bastyan able to claim a valuable 5 lb, all looks set fair for a big run. Towcester scorer Bastien and Wait For Me are a couple of others to consider in a competitive contest.

Regal Flow ran well to finish third in a competitive chase at Cheltenham two starts ago and his run last time out was too bad to be true. That said, the preference is for KRACKATOA KING, who relishes soft/heavy ground and a 5lb rise in the ratings for his latest victory may not be enough to stop him today. Cobajayisland has valid form claims but the lack of a recent run is an obvious concern. Wizards Bridge and Beau Du Brizais are others capable of going well.
An open heat in which it may be worth siding with SHOCKINGTIMES to land this race for a second time. Jamie Snowden's charge looked set to make a successful return from a long absence until falling 3 out at Fontwell in October and races off the same mark here. It is easy to argue that this race is weaker than that event and the son of Helissio can run from the same mark today. Coeur Tantre has been knocking on the door of late and could prove to be the main danger, ahead of Monsieur Co.
MONSIEUR CO was in the process of running his best race for Paul Nicholls when coming down at the final fence at Doncaster last time. He drops back in grade here and can take full advantage. Coeur Tantre has run well in both his starts over fences and is preferred to Bishops Court for the forecast.

Theatre Territory arrives here having finished second in both of her starts over fences to date and, while another good run can be expected, the seven-year-old could fill that position once again today. JESSBER'S DREAM is the highest rated of these by quite some way and she arrives here having made the frame in a very competitive handicap hurdle here last month. Secret Door has not been at her very best of late but she did win a decent mares' hurdle at Haydock back in April.
JESSBER'S DREAM was easily the best of these over hurdles and should make a chaser given her pointing background. Theatre Territory has taken very well to chasing for her new yard this season and is the clear main threat.

BEGBIE showed enough promise on his debut at Plumpton to suggest that he will be tough to beat in a race of this nature, especially as he is entitled to improve for that experience. Similar comments also apply to Golden Whisky, Ringa Ding Ding and Rowley Park. Of the newcomers, Gosheven is a half-brother to the bumper winner and Grade 1-placed hurdler Vesper Bell, while Kentford Mallard is closely related to a Grade 2-placed mare.
A steadily-run race was against RINGA DING DING on last month's Taunton debut, and he rates the type to show considerable improvement with that behind him. Begbie has to be feared following a placed effort at Plumpton, while Lechlade Magician, Gosheven and Burn Valley are all newcomers to note.
