The most likely individual to mount a serious challenge is surely Taunton scorer, Wessex King, who left his previous form well behind when romping to victory in the west country. Teenage Idol is a useful-looking jumping prospect and it'll be no surprise if he too is in the thick of things.

This appears to be the weaker of the two divisions in which SIR TANTALLUS HAWK has a good chance of making a successful debut over hurdles, having shown some decent form in National Hunt races, notably when scooting home at Catterick. These challenging fences really take some jumping, so despite the trip being on the short-side for Sue Smith's CAMDEN GEORGE, the spring-heeled gelding is still fancied to do the business. Perhaps best-equipped to also get involved is Degas Art, who even though he lacks experience over the bigger obstacles, boasts an excellent strike-rate, both on the Flat and over hurdles, therefore knows exactly how to put his head in front where it counts most.

ART EXHIBITION was always moving like the winner on his jumps' debut at Fontwell and when his jockey, Noel Fehily, pressed the button, the response was hugely impressive. Only one of the five runners, Lusento, can be discounted with confidence and the vote goes to WILL BE DONE, who won with ease over C&D last time out and represents the bang in-form Donald McCain stable. Pop is a chaser going places and he'll be a tough nut to crack if still pitching over the final couple of fences.
