The opener could be fought out between two runners, ABAYYAAN and COMING IN HOT. Verdict

Good race. BARTHOLDI has blinkers back on and will be used to them. Look for a big run. Stablemates MUFASA and HEAVENS GIRL disappointed recently - both are much better than that and either could find it. INVIDIA and CAPTAIN MORISCO, from the same yard, have ability and neither can be ruled out. GALLIC CHIEF won well on debut in new surroundings and will be tested.
