HAVINGOTASCOOBYDOO won a Newton Abbot bumper with plenty in hand in the summer and the step up to 2m4f should pose no problem to Martin Keighley's representative as he also won a point-to-point earlier this year. He could take all the beating if taking to hurdles at the first time of asking. Maxdelas showed plenty of ability in France and he is respected on his first run for Nigel Twiston-Davies, while Railway Dillon and Coolbeg are also worth considering.
Maxdelas has shown solid form in France and has a good chance to make a winning start in Britain if translating that ability. Dangers abound, however, headed by promising bumper performers Havingotascoobydoo and Railway Dillon.

TORNADO BOB could not live with Kid Cassidy at Newbury on his hurdling debut last month but he would be unfortunate to bump into anything of that calibre today and he could prove the one to beat. Herdsman won an Aintree bumper on his debut and although he was subsequently beaten when odds-on at Haydock, this longer trip will suit and he can go well on his first attempt over hurdles. Wood Yer has place possibilities.
Tornado Bob made a highly encouraging start in this sphere for Donald McCain when runner-up at Newbury last month and could prove too strong for useful bumper recruit Herdsman. Wood Yer appeals most of the remainder.

Silent Cliche had to settle for second best on his chasing debut at Wetherby last month but there could be plenty more to come from him over fences and he looks sure to give a good account here. However, he is taken on with GLENWOOD KNIGHT who will find this test much more suitable than the 2m1f he tackled on his chasing debut at Hexham last month. Hopeful Start struggled on his chasing debut at Exeter earlier this month but better can be expected in due course.
Love of Tara is built for this game and has conditions to suit, but this could develop into a match between Glenwood Knight and Silent Cliche. The former will appreciate the return to this trip and jumped the better of the pair on their chasing debuts.

The market is likely to provide the best guide to this race. Support for Barney Curley's Sommersturm would make him very interesting indeed but it might pay to take a chance on David Pipe's handicap debutant, SARAH'S BOY. He has not shown a great deal in his four runs over hurdles to date but it will be disappointing if he is not capable of a little better than his opening mark of 82 and the application of cheekpieces could help. Dramatic Jewel might also be worth a second glance on his handicap bow.
Dramatic Jewel, Sommersturm and Sarah's Boy all need monitoring in the betting for one reason or another, but Petroglyph gets the nod with cheekpieces back on and conditions to suit from a very attractive mark.

Ban Uisce has been raised 7lb for his 2m2f Plumpton success last month but that might not be enough to prevent another big run from him. However, a chance is taken on ME FEIN who hinted at better to come at Huntingdon last time. An initial handicap mark of 92 might not be beyond his capabilities and any confidence behind him in the betting market would inspire confidence. Supreme De Paille has a lengthy lay-off to overcome but it would be foolish to overlook him.
Me Fein is potentially well treated and the betting will guide as to how well connections expect him to go but, as things stand, Timetoring could be worth chancing given he loves the mud and should be sharper than on his reappearance. Ban Uisce and I Can Run Can You also have a fair bit going for them.

GLAMOROUS GG posted an improved effort over 2m5f here last month and she could prove well treated now tackling handicap company over this trip off a mark of just 85. Paradise Expected could also be involved where it matters most.

Generals Love could be capable of much better than he showed on his debut at Towcester last month and he is one to monitor closely but HELIOPSIS gets the nod. He shaped nicely on his debut here back in October and, with plenty of improvement possible, he should play a leading role today. The point-to-point winners, Master Conor and Monbeg Dude, both merit respect on their respective NH debuts.
Heliopsis' third to Bear's Affair here is good enough to make him the choice, and that contest looks more solid than the one Qualitee was fourth in last time. Perhaps a bigger danger will be Just Cloudy, with a switch to Anthony Honeyball no bad thing.
