ABAYYAAN is consistent and was only run out of it late last time. This shorter distance could suit and he could be the one to beat in a weakish race. DISPLACE TIME was not disgraced when third last time out. He is well drawn and has a winning chance. CROSS EXAMINER has been a bit of a disappointment but could earn some money. WATCHING CLOSELY is battling to shed her maiden tag but remains in good form and should fight out the finish once again. FASHIONIGMA is returning from a lengthy break but if fit and well she has the form to go close to winning. PASHASHA has improved with each run and should be right there at the finish. Verdict

BARTHOLDI deserves a change of luck after two sparkling runner-up places behind some decent horses. He could prove hard to catch. FOREVER MINE lacked extra late last time out. The drop in distance suits and he could get a lot closer to the winner this time. WINTER SMOKE needs to find a length or two to win again but could earn some minor money. WILLIAM ROBERTSON is clearly a decent horse but is returning from a lengthy break. His trainer does not run an unfit horse so he must be respected. SILVER TYCOON is clearly better than his recent run and could be a surprise package.

Verdict

An interesting race. GEE FOR GO has not been seen at her best for some time now but gets a drop in class and if at her best can win. HEAVENS GIRL may have just needed her last run. She always gives of her best and should go close to winning. SUPREME QUEST campaigned with a lot of merit in KZN and if fit returning from a break she must be considered. CARALLUMA has been a disappointment this year and is returning from a lengthy break but can beat them if at her very best. SHIELD OF ROSES and GODDESS OF LIGHT must also be considered.

Verdict

VICTORIA PAIGE returns from a short break and would be better over a bit more but is good back-up for trainer Sean Tarry. Stable companion FULL VELOCITY is capable of a decent strong finish so should like this course and distance and looks the one to beat. LUCY IN THE SKY may not have liked the soft going going last time around so should do better this time. OUR PRIZED JEWEL makes her local debut and Anton Marcus is in the irons so she has to be given some respect returning from a break. ADMIRE ME and FANTASTICAL both have ability but are returning from lengthy breaks so their fitness will need to be taken on trust.

Verdict

A tough race to find the winner and we need go very deep in the exotics. JULIET TANGO tired late last time so should prefer this shorter distance. CHLORIS is consistent and should be included in all exotic perms as one of these days her consistency could be rewarded. ME TIME is unreliable but could surprise. GOLDEN ASPEN does not always show her best side but when in the mood she does fight off her rivals and is a brave sort. MCKENNA SKYE was a bit disappointing last time but can do better. The same can also be said of KIAWAH.

Verdict

Another competitive race and we should be in for an exciting finish, UN DEUX TROIS has struck form nicely over a bit longer but this is a testing course and distance and she has every chance of winning again. TRAVELING WILBURY is holding her form and is distance suited so must be respected. FRANKLIN is course-and-distance suited as well and should be included in all exotics. ARYAAM is consistent and from a good draw could get the run of the race. LAST CHEER is in good form and is also not out of it.
