Verdict

TRAIL RUNNER showed good improvement from his debut to his next run. With further improvement expected he looks the one to beat. MIZZEN SWORD needs to do more to win a race but is capable of earning some minor money. There are some first-timers that could be ready to score on debut. HARRY NYQUIST (GB) has already been gelded so the British import should be a threat. PUMPKIN PIE is a Buffalo Bill Cody gelding and his trainer does not run them unless they can win. Verdict

Trainer Mike de Kock could have a good afternoon. ARTIST'S MODEL was firmly put in his place by some high-class three-year-olds last time out. He can bounce back to beat these rivals but will be giving weight away to all of them. DON'T CRY FOR ME is usually not far off them but needs to do more to win. ON TARGET has looked better the further he goes and should be right there at the finish yet again. IMMEDIATE EDGE won nicely on debut but is carded to run on Thursday so might not contest this race. Verdict

A very open handicap and it could pay to include all the runners in the Pick 6. Trainer Clinton Binda has his yard in very good form and PRIZED PLATINUM won nicely enough to suggest he might follow up. Stable companion MARIACHI MADNESS won last week and could follow up. Verdict

PURPLE PITCHER did not show his best behind Main Defender last time out. He was very good in the Betway Summer Cup before that and can bounce back to beat these rivals. SILVER SANCTUARY was well behind that rival in the Summer Cup but will be a danger if showing her best form. RADICCHIO was not disgraced when trying this distance last time out but may prefer it shorter. NONE OTHER showed what she is capable of with a good win last time out and deserves respect for that. FORGIVENESS still has scope for improvement and could be better than rated.
