A Dash Of Key Lime just held on to win last time and could follow up, while Throwin A Fit won well and could also make it a quick-fire double. The latter holds COMIN THE OTHER WAY on that form but the slection was returning from a long absence that day and was a bit better than the rest of these at her best, so with the run under her belt is taken to reverse placings.
The consistent Lightacaper is expected to once again stake his claim from the front and should hold a strong hand at the finish, but FROSTMARK is the best option here. Three wins from his last four outings ahows he's in good order right now and speed figures also make him the one to beat. Lion In The Sky can chase home that duo.
Summer Lake steps up in class but should have enough to cope and with her barn in form she's hard to rule out. This is her first try on the turf, though, and it's worth taking a chance on V'VILLE LADY. She has been out of action for seven months but has more ability than her rivals here and her class could see her through in this lower grade. Her ability to handle the turf is a plus, while Proud Ellen and Loan Me The Money both won on the grass last time and can figure.
MS. SIERRA SILVER was well backed for her debut over C&D last month but lost all chance coming out the gate. She will know more today, though, and the fact she still managed to record a better speed figure than any of today's rivals have of late makes her the one to beat. Newcomers Rush Lake and Whinny Bay wouldn't have to be anything special to have a say first time out, while Velvet Angle looks best of the remainder with a run.
REDDER comes from an in-form barn who are well capable of having their runners ready first time out and, as he comes from a winning family, is taken to get off the mark straight away. Palmetto Road has shown most of those to have seen the track but makes limited appeal and bigger threats loom in the shape of fellow debutants Highland Games and Anozira.
JESSANDO has been knocking hard on the door recently and has beaten a number of these in filling the runner-up berth on his last three starts - he can get it right today. Blue Game is the fastest at today's distance and can give the selection most to think about with a top pilot booked to ride today.
Mr Playwright, What A Star, Dancing Flyer and One Hot Cat all landed maiden events last time out and are open to plenty of improvement. However, none of them scored as impressively as EXPLOITITRIGHT who recorded the highest last speed-figure in his 6.5f victory and looks the one to beat for a hot stable on only his third outing.
Plum Red went a close second in a similar event here on his penultimate outing and Tiryns won over 1m here on turf in September. Starbuck Joe has impressed in sprinting so far and must be respected on his turf/route trip debut, but the safest bet may be A YOUNGER BROTHER. The 6-y-o has a good record on turf and has been knocking hard on the door recently.
Mister Bel won by over ten lengths on his latest outing over an extended 1m but the drop in trip isn't in his favour and the preference is for SHERMAN'S MARCH. Raul Gonzalez's charge returned to form with a narrow defeat over 6.5f here last month and the form of his pilot inspires further confidence.
