DASHING DIAMOND looks a nice type to go hurdling with and she might be capable of striking at the first time of asking over flights. She's a bit unfortunate not to have a win on the board at this stage, and the daughter of Excelebration certainly faced an unenviable task last time when chasing home Dreal Deal at Limerick. On Flat ratings the selection has no business really against the likes of Capel At Dawn and Zoom Zoom Babe, but Martin Hassett's charge could well be better at this game.

He obviously has an awful lot more to do here but you couldn't be anything other than very impressed with VISIONARIAN at Gowran, and he's worth an each-way play if the eight of these go to post. This observer happened to be at Knockmullen House when the French-bred made a winning debut for the Colin Bowe yard. He looks to have been well-bought at 60K and connections are entitled to think big until Visionarian tells them something different. Robinnia is back in trip but she's very promising. Lignou got a form boost when the horse he beat at Punchestown, Fest Deiz, went in at Cork on Sunday. We haven't seen Fitzhenry over flights for a long time and the trip looks inadequate. Decent cases can be built all round elsewhere though.

Hopefully the market will clarify as to what's expected with the returning My Hometown, but for a selection recent winner KITTY GALORE might be a safer choice. Trainer John Ryan had no less than three seconds at Ballinrobe on Saturday and despite the fact that she's up seven pounds, the selection could be up to following up on her Limerick win from Munster National day. SWEET STING is back at Tipperary in a bid to follow up on her course and distance success from sixteen days back. The Scorpion mare is up six pounds for a three parts of a length beating of Happie Days. She was too keen at Wexford in August and then she didn't handle the going at Tramore in September. It came together nicely for the Bowe's five-year-old last time, and a mare in form over a track and trip where she's excelled, is a potent combination. Many others could potentially get involved and the likes of The Trigger is certainly taken into account.

The winner of eight handicap chases in his long career, CAPTURE THE DRAMA might not be done with yet and ran well on his second run back from a lay-off when third at Killarney. The old warrior will doubtless get an attacking ride from Donie McInerney and is a hard horse to pass when he's in good form. By contrast, Rubiana was patiently ridden at Downpatrick and came through for an easy first racecourse success with Cantkidakidder and Court Adjourned well behind. Up 8lbs for that, she just sneaks into this race off the ceiling rating but very soft ground would be a worry. Glenquin Castle ran okay a couple of times over hurdles and might be a contender if jumping better than on handicap debut here earlier in the month.

There's no doubt FOX LE BEL has the most potential of these as he starts off in handicap chases. He was unlucky when third in his first handicap hurdle last term and ran creditably a couple of times afterwards. His trainer Liz Doyle often prospers at this time of year and had a winner and a couple of placed horses at Tramore last week. Avec Espoir ran a flat sort of race at Fairyhouse, but was second at Wexford last month before being in contention when falling at Listowel. He might just have needed a clear round last time to get his confidence back and there are races to be won with him. Crack On Corrie has just a second outing over fences here and has been in good form over hurdles so far this autumn. There's no more shielding or cocooning for the old boy See Double You who lines up at the age of 17 but will surely need the run having been confined to his garden all summer.
