Not the greatest turnout for a Listed race and the nod goes to English raider HOGMANEIGH. He won the high-class Portland Handicap at the Doncaster St Leger meeting and has winning form over this trip. Tornadodancer is in good form and loves this trip on soft ground. He didn't fire at the Curragh last time but is capable of bouncing back. Domingues had some good form last term and should come on for his modest comeback run at the Curragh last time.

DANCING BANDIT looked a certain future winner when coming home a good second in a hot race at the Curragh last time. She should relish this trip and soft ground is no problem. Signal Fire ran a cracker on debut at Killarney last time and he looks open to plenty of improvement for Dermot Weld, while Freemantle has taken his time to get going but wasn't disgraced at the Curragh last time and is improving.

Soft ground is no problem and she's improving. EARTH MAGIC didn't get home over 3m last time and has shown much better form over this kind of distance. He likes cut in the ground and has solid prospects in an open race. Schelm was out of sorts last time but earlier won nicely at Limerick over this distance and is no forlorn hope. Cork All Star has never really progressed from winning the Cheltenham bumper a couple of years ago but shouldn't be dismissed.

TOOMDEELY has gone up 12lb for his last win at Listowel over this trip but he did score eased down by 15 lengths so has every chance of defying the handicapper with underfoot conditions to his liking. DAMIEN'S OSCAR is the obvious choice despite carrying a double penalty. He's got that weight because of two convincing wins at Listowel and Wexford and has every chance of landing the hat-trick here. Billy No Mates showed some promise when third at Listowel on soft ground and can give the selection most to do, although Frankford was another who went well enough last time and has a squeak.
