There was a few quid around for VOICE OF ANGELS in a strong listed race at Leopardstown on Champions Weekend and she should be up to opening her account now back in maiden company. The Dark Angel filly unfortunately clipped heels, stumbled and unseated her rider last time after a couple of furlongs. She had shown plenty on her previous start when third in a maiden at Leopardstown and had been narrowly beaten on her 'official' debut by recent Group 3 winner Concert Hall at the Curragh. Timiyra makes her first start since shaping with promise on her debut at Cork back in June. She kept on nicely when third then over six furlongs and may appreciate stepping up to the mile now. The Algarve stepped forward from her debut when fourth at Gowran last month and could be a player now if improving again.

Watch out for: Timiyra (7)

VOICE OF ANGELS showed plenty of ability when placed on her first 2 outings and is well worth another chance to get off the mark following an unfortunate incident last time. The Algarve and Timiyra are obvious threats.

Group One winning trainer Ado McGuinness may be able to strike here with the consistent CAPITULATION. The Elzaam filly went down fighting when second to Tut Tut at Listowel last time having been a narrow winner at Bellewstown previously. She has been left on the same mark by the handicapper and Cian MacRedmond's 5lb claim looks to give her a big shout of going in again now. Anchorage has been running in some strong maidens and bumped into a smart sort in Swan Bay at Galway last time. He has to give away plenty of weight to his rivals but has to be respected. All In The Mind ran nicely when third in maiden company at Listowel and with blinkers fitted now he is another to consider on his handicap debut.

NOTRE BELLE BETE should be good enough to land a maiden of this standard. The Zoffany gelding looked an exciting prospect when fourth in a Guineas trial on his debut and filled the same position in another Listed contest on his second start. It's a bit disappointing that he hasn't won a maiden since but he had a bit of a break before his return at Cork late last month and is entitled to step forward from that. Adelisa has been knocking on the door and to be fair has bumped into a couple of improving sorts on recent outings. She should be thereabouts again but has a bit to find with the selection on official ratings. Irish Chief would be a contender on the pick of his form but was slightly disappointing when last seen at Dundalk in July. Knight Of Malta is another who has some decent placed form but this is a stronger contest than the one he was runner-up in at Bellewstown last time.

Top Tip: Notre Belle Bete (6)
Watch out for: Adelisa (11)

NOTRE BELLE BETE has some solid form and was doing his best work at the finish when runner-up in a Cork maiden recently, so he might well be able to open his account back up to a trip that's more suitable. Adelisa is closely matched with the selection on form, so she's feared most ahead of newcomer Wychwood Whisper.

Accessory got first run on DARKENED at Cork and the Denis Hogan trained gelding might be able to reverse the form now. The selection went up six pounds for finishing third at the Mallow circuit, just a head and a neck behind Accessory. A winner over flights at Kilbeggan in August, Darkened should be able to open his account on the level now. The aforementioned Accessory was given nine pounds for that Cork success and he will again be ridden by Mikey Sheehy who claims a valuable five. The Pat Flynn trained four-year-old is likely to have plenty of supporters, while fellow recent winner Fennor Cross is another leading contender. Top-weight Blyton was successful at Bellewstown last week and it'll come as little surprise if he manages to follow-up. Dunum has been knocking on the door of late and would be a deserving winner, while Hidden Spark and Take My Hand also warrant respect.

EASTERN TORNADO should be able to make the breakthrough here. He was unlucky when a fast-finishing second at Sligo in May and again met with trouble in running when third at Navan on his next start. He was probably given too much to do at Tipperary on his most recent outing, eventually finishing fourth after racing towards rear for much of the contest. Rated just 47, the four-year-old gelding looks capable of going much higher in the handicap. Walnut Beach caught the eye when fourth over flights at Roscommon recently, and the Pat Flynn trained bay is given second preference. He went down by just three-parts of a length on his penultimate start at Tramore and will be helped here by the five-pound claim of rider Mikey Sheehy. Universal Focus and Stay With Me finished first and second at Dundalk last month and the pair re-oppose now. Both are leading contenders, while others for the shortlist are Comedy La Vega, Crackaway and Whyzzat.

MADONNA just qualifies here on a mark of 70 and the Aidan O'Brien trained handicap debutant looks the one to side with. While he doesn't have many runners in handicaps of this sort, O'Brien actually won this race twelve months ago with Evening Primrose. A full-sister to Group 1 winner Maybe, Madonna was a beaten favourite at this very meeting last year, finishing a well-beaten ninth on her sole start this campaign. She is upped in trip now to two miles for the first time and it'll be disappointing if she is not involved towards the business end. Anyonecanhaveitall was a winner at Down Royal on his penultimate start and since finished a good third at Listowel. The Mick Halford trained five-year-old is given second preference with Mikey Sheehy taking five-pounds off. Six-time winner Dalileo warrants respect, while others for the shortlist are Nibblers Charm, Call Me Dolly and Majestic Jewel (first time blinkers).
