This race presents CHUBBY with a great chance of getting her head in front. She has been knocking on the door recently and 6f looks to be her ideal trip at the moment. Ready To Mambo is likely to give another good account of herself, while Beautiful Insight is certainly no forlorn hope.
NOONTIME DIVA showed a likeable attitude when landing the spoils over track and trip last time and she will prove a tough nut to crack if in the same mood tonight. Schell Shocker had been in cracking form prior to losing her irons here latest and commands respect, while Get Your Shine On is worthy of consideration.
An open looking heat in which RUNRICORUN gets the tentative vote. He has shown flashes of ability in four starts to date and this represents his easiest assignment yet. Imvros Indy looks an obvious danger on the back of his creditable placed effort at this track, while Wireless Macho isn't without claims.
PRIZE DOLL caught the eye on her racecourse bow when finishing sixth in a hot race at Ocala back in March and she remains capable of a good bit better now returned to action. Another open to improvement is Pepperdine, with Mercury Moon also of interest.
Plenty in with chances in this modest contest where slight preference is for DYNAQUAKE, a close second in a similar contest over 7f here this month. He's looked in top form for the past couple of months and should have the edge tonight. Powerstown, Quick Cash and Lion By My Side are all running well and can fight out the minor placings.
This can go the way of the progressive TRIPPADEEDOODA, a close second in a similar contest over C&D this month and seemingly open to further improvement after just four starts. Mi Buena Vida, third behind the selection but well beaten, should be thereabouts again but Catch The Beat, who has been running in much better company, could prove the main threat.
It's hard to oppose the claims of NEMO LANDING. The gelding has changed hands five times since the end of last year but has continued winning, scoring in this grade over five and a half furlongs here last month. There seems little reason why he shouldn't follow up. Bring Da Ruckus has some form in better company and should prove the one for the exacta, although Max's Beau, who won a slightly weaker contest over 6f here last time, might not be too far away.
High Cry was a shade disappointing when behind a few of these last time and has a bit to prove now, so preference is for NO ACRONYMS. The selection was a ready winner over track and trip last time and can follow up tonight. The consistent Regina Twain and Musical Brew are others to enter calculations.
I WANNA RUN didn't get home over 6f last time and looks worth a try at this slightly shorter trip as he looks to build upon solid efforts at this track the last twice. Dolphin Key is capable of making his presence felt if putting his best foot forward and looks the one for the forecast. Last time out scorer Snuggilin Jo Jo drops back from 7f but is another to consider.
OFFER showed improvement between her first and second runs and scored over C&D earlier in the month. She showed terrific battling qualities to get on top that day and a reproduction of that effort should see her go close. Seastrike warrants consideration now eased in grade, while Smooth Decision and Wildcat Miss, who has recently hinted she would benefit from a step up to a mile, are also shortlisted.
Our Masterpeace sets a decent form standard based on his effort over 5f here 12 months ago but his fitness has to be taken on trust on his first start since June and preference is for SUNOFAMACHO, who has been a pillar of consistency at this venue in recent months and could gain a deserved success now dropped in trip. See Me Smoke is entitled to come on for his debut effort and is also considered.
