ALFIBOY was beaten by under a length off this mark over a similar trip at Newcastle earlier in the month and should be thereabouts with a repeat performance. The main danger to the selection may be Budarri, who produced his best effort to date when second over C&D 10 days ago. Fort Jefferson is sporting first-time cheekpieces and could finish in the minor money, likewise Derrynane, a recent beaten favourite over C&D who is 9lb higher than when striking at Catterick in January.
HARDROCK DAVIS was well supported but didn't get the chance to show what he could do when falling fifth on C&D handicap debut 10 days ago. He remains open to improvement and gets the narrow vote in the hope he keeps the errors at bay. Budarri shaped well last time and along with Fort Jefferson heads up the dangers.

Raid Stane clearly hasn't been easy to get right as he makes his first appearance for 666 days on stable debut for Lucinda Egerton. He did show decent form when winning twice at Carlisle and Perth for Julia Brooke, but might just need this outing. Rock Of Leon won well at Wetherby last time but the race did fall apart somewhat, and ALLFREDANDNOBELL could be a more solid option. He was a fortunate winner when left clear at the final obstacle last time, but still would have finished a solid second and he could have more to offer wearing a visor for just the second time.
This is trappy. The booking of Brian Hughes suggests NEWSTART is expected to go well in refitted headgear and he might be the way to go. Allfredandnobell reacted well to a visor when scoring at Wetherby and will figure again if the headgear continues to have a positive effect, while Danceintothelight is well capable at this level if on a going day. Ever So Much would also come into it if backed.

It's O Kay looks to be the best of the two Olly Murphy runners over Foxtrot Juliet based on jockey bookings and should go well, although it is a concern that she seemingly refused to go through with her winning effort when holding every chance at Wetherby last time out. It might be worth taking a punt on the Irish raider, DOLLYS DESTINATION, who has some nice form in the book behind the likes of Felix Desjy and Lucca Lady. Cheltenham Festival-winning rider Noel McParlan takes the ride and a big run looks likely.
It could be a case of third time lucky for IT'S O KAY, who has failed to justify favouritism in bumpers at Doncaster and Wetherby but has shown more than enough to suggest a race of this nature should be within her grasp. Jumbo Davis makes his debut for a respected yard which boasts a good record here and may emerge as the main danger. Newcomer Whiteoak Fleur is one to note in the betting.
