Hear The Chimes has undergone wind surgery since scoring over course and distance in November and that should help him in his bid to overcome a 7lb hike. The veteran Danceintothelight ran his usual honest race when runner-up at Catterick but he is on a lengthy losing sequence. BEST TO COME is yet to get his head in front but stepped forward significantly on previous form when second on his debut for the Keith Dalgleish stable, and he should be able to build on it.
DANCEINTOTHELIGHT was back on song when runner-up at Catterick last time and is worth siding with to build on that at a venue where he's enjoyed success in the past. Best To Come rates an obvious danger after a promising first run for Keith Dalgleish here on Boxing Day, while Magic Dragon appeals as a potential improver now handicapping.

CASTLETOWN hit the crossbar at Kelso and returned there to again find only one too strong just after Christmas. He is a 13-race maiden over fences but was winning over the smaller obstacles as recently as last spring, and he isn't on a much higher mark now. Ringaringarosie went some way to putting a Sedgefield mishap behind her when third at the same venue but the chief threat could come in the shape of Newquay Cards, who might appreciate the switch to chasing.
CHAMPION CHASE isn't streets ahead of his mark but he's consistent in the main and should be straight for this third outing of the campaign, so he gets the vote to overcome the seemingly well-in Castletown, who often come unstuck in a battle. An improved showing from Newquay Cards isn't out of the question trying fences for the first time.

I'm To Blame lost his unbeaten record when managing only third at Newcastle, although the front two might be decent and Keith Dalgleish's gelding was impressive when running away with a maiden here the time before. Even so, he will do well to successfully concede a stone to WHITEOAK FLEUR, whose latest Kelso third was boosted when the mare just ahead of her went on to take third in Listed company. Manamite bounced back to form to win at Hexham, but needs to back it up.
WHITEOAK FLEUR produced a promising first effort over hurdles when third at Kelso last month, noted sticking to her task. Open to improvement, she is fancied to make her mark in this field. I'm To Blame will find this less demanding than his latest Newcastle assignment and ought to provide the leading threat.

DARES TO DREAM confirmed her second behind subsequent Listed scorer Timetochill to be no fluke when hacking up over C&D and, although a penalty will obviously make life tougher, she will be strongly fancied to complete the double. Beast Of Belstane has run to a fair level in three starts thus far and having Brian Hughes in the plate boosts his chances, although the bigger threat may prove to be Ranskill Road, a newcomer representing last year's winning trainer.
DARES TO DREAM had plenty in hand here on Boxing Day and is selected to make light of a penalty, although strong market support for Brian Ellison newcomer Ranskill Road would put a slightly different slant on things. The selection's stablemate Adelphi Prince is another potential threat if the betting speaks for him.
