Given a positive mention in a recent stable tour since joining Olly Murphy's yard from Ireland where he won a bumper at Naas in April, JAMADA is likely to take the switch to hurdles in his stride and the five-year-old can strike in this winnable contest. Things haven't gone smoothly in this sphere for Jolie Coeur Allen, but she ran creditably when second at Cartmel in June and she is a player, along with Supreme George.
JOLIE COEUR ALLEN has the experience edge dropping back to maiden company, she found only one too good last time in a novice at Cartmel and that was her fourth place. Next best Jamada won a bumper last time out, he makes his hurdles debut and the Olly Murphy yard is in form so has a big chance if his jumping holds up. Supreme George needs to improve from his recent form but has had a spots of form and may sneak a place in a race with not much else standing out.

SIR CARNEGIE's jumping has let him down since joining the Mickey Bowen yard, but he did keep on well for fourth over hurdles at Plumpton last time out and stepping up in trip looks like a good move. Shane Fenelon taking off 5lb is another plus and he may have too much for Pescatorius, who arrives with similar claims as he goes up in distance after being in the first three over shorter the last twice. A strong stayer, the veteran Super Citizen may also get involved.
PESCATORIUS has been consistently knocking on the door this term and is stepped up in trip in the hope to turn those places into a win, he was second last time out staying on well so may find that improvement over further. Luminaries has been in good form but the handicapper seems to have caught up with him, he was pulled up on chase debut but given another chance back up in trip. Super Citizen can be excused for his latest effort, he can bounce back if fit on reappearance. He is just 1lb above his last winning mark which came in April.

SPOT ON SOPH looked value for much more than the winning margin over C&D last month and a 3lb rise could prove especially lenient as she looks to follow up for her in-form connections. A winner of four of his last five, Dickens has been on a roll over the last few months and going back up in trip should not inconvenience him after his comfortable success in a conditional handicap at Newton Abbot recently. Isle Of Sark and Magnolia are capable of being in the shake-up as well.
DICKENS was impressive last time out, he travelled strongly and won well - that was his fourth win in his last five starts and the way he won that suggest he is not finished progressing, with no penalty for that win. Spot on Soph won in a similar manner, but that was over CD, a 3lb rise seems fair but she has never won off a mark this high. In behind that day was Final Edgar in a much improved effort back from a break with first time tongue tie (retained) so holds fair claims off an unchanged mark.

Captain Cool took a step forward to fill the runner-up spot over C&D on his handicap bow recently and although respected from an unchanged mark, ZAMOND is preferred. Donald McCain's gelding went desperately close at Bangor before winning in fine style over 2m4f here latest. He must now shoulder a 7lb penalty but that shouldn't be any barrier to further success, nor should the drop in trip. First-time blinkers replace cheekpieces for Clan Chieftain, whose latest Perth effort was more encouraging.
ZAMOND won here in good fashion last time out, he is up 7lb but the nature of that win suggests there is more to come and he has won off higher marks than this in the past. Captain Cool made a promising start to handicapping life when second over CD last time, with improvement likely in just his fourth start he should be in the mix once more off the same mark. Clean Getaway improved back here last time out after a poor spell and can run well again at his favoured track, he holds place claims at least off his last winning mark.
