MAYDREAM is a mare most certainly on an upward curve and it could be significant that 5lb claimer Raul Da Silva takes over in the plate. The promising young jockey is well worth his claim and helps to negate the majority of a 6lb rise for her recent Newbury win on quick ground. She gets further than 1m4f so should be suited to a prominent ride on easy ground, but keep a close eye on the threatening Kathleen Frances and the eased-in-class Quiz Mistress.
Alshazah has been dropped to the mark he won from at Wolverhampton over the winter, but he needs to prove he's as effective on turf and, with that in mind, the vote goes to Dubai Glory. She's done it here before, arrives on the back of a good run at Brighton last time and could have things run to suit with little obvious pace about. Kathleen Frances is another who needs taking seriously.

WELSH INLET has underfoot conditions in his favour and remains weighted to go close in this company. Sean Levey got a nice tune out of the four-year-old filly when scoring at Brighton early last month and she may represent the value selection. Solemn is also respected and arrives in fine heart based on his six-length Sandown romp, while recent Catterick second Naabegha can also make the frame, despite a 2lb rise for that head defeat.
A sprint which essentially revolves around Solemn. His Sandown romp isn't all that easy to explain adequately, but if he arrives here and comes up with anything similar he should win. Ray of Joy could be the one to take advantage otherwise, with Titus Gent third best.

Port Charlotte didn't disgrace herself when fourth in a Goodwood maiden last month but while there should be more to come at this stage, it is tough to envisage her reversing the form with ENSEJAAM. Charlie Hills' filly showed signs of improvement at the West Sussex track and, with experience under her belt, it could prove significant that Paul Hanagan now takes over in the saddle. Chigun is beginning to get the hang of things for Sir Henry Cecil and is feared most under Ian Mongan.
Ensejaam didn't fully confirm the promise of her debut when beaten at short odds at Goodwood last time but is well worth another chance back on a soft surface. Recent Nottingham second Chigun is an obvious danger, while Albanka is a newcomer who makes plenty of appeal on paper.

Richard Hannon and Richard Hughes won the feature on the card 12 months ago with Elnawin and the pair are well represented again with the dual Group 2 winner Libranno. Runners tend to come across to the stands' side rail on soft ground so that would certainly hinder the chances of Our Jonathan, who is positioned in stall one, but if underfoot conditions were to dry out, the 114-rated son of Invincible Spirit would have to be considered a player following his comeback win at Haydock. However, Ed McMahon's C&D winner ARTISTIC JEWEL can get across from stall six in an attempt to take advantage of her weight allowances. The speedy daughter of Excellent Art notched in similar company at Newmarket at the end of last term and, in light of her recent second to Inetrobil, she appears to be coming to herself just at the right time.
Our Jonathan, Definightly and Eton Rifles are all at home in the mud and are possibly the trio to focus on, the first-named taken to make the long journey down from Yorkshire worthwhile by adding to his Haydock reappearance success.

BOLD PREDICTION is closely related to some nice types and although Richard Hannon's juveniles have taken some time to come to themselves this year, they have recently started to fire on all cylinders and it would be no surprise to see him make it a winning debut. The booking of Richard Hughes suggests he is preferred over stablemate Great Run, while Martial Art is another to note on debut.
The pair with experience hardly set an insurmountable standard, and it seems likely that this will go the way of a newcomer, with Bold Prediction topping the list ahead of stablemate Great Run.

RIVAS RHAPSODY enjoyed a perfect three-year-old campaign (3-3) and is entitled to have come on for her Newbury reappearance when within just half a length of Avonrose. She's open to stacks of improvement on just her fifth career start and looks the one to beat in this company. The ultra-consistent Caramelita is also worth mentioning on the back of her Folkestone success and she can't be overlooked under a 6lb penalty, while Saratoga Slew completes the shortlist.
The unexposed duo Rivas Rhapsody and Saratoga Slew stand out by some margin in this, and it's the latter who appeals more of the pair. It's just a matter of time before she gets off the mark, and she can take advantage of the weight she receives from Rivas Rhapsody. With the rest dubious, Caramelita may see out this trip sufficiently to get third.
