Earl's Bridge has the best form of those with racecourse experience but a five-length third to Bird Of Light at Bath was nothing out of the ordinary for the grade and it would not surprise to see him succumb to a newcomer. Searchlight is interesting for Kevin Ryan but it is a concern that the yard has yet to deliver a juvenile winner this year. The market should act as the best guide to his chances. In contrast, Richard Fahey's juveniles are in sparkling form so Mr MR CARBONFOOTPRINT looks the percentage call.

An open handicap, in which the joint-topweighted Dark Lane should maintain his consistent run of form. TINGHIR has had a host of entries in the past week and it's interesting that David Lanigan has chosen to send the son of Dansili here in the attempt to break his maiden. He showed plenty of promise when fifth behind Improvisation in a useful maiden at headquarters on his return and that form makes greater appeal than that of his seemingly sole rival in Thouwra. Godolphin's Pivotal colt has shown up well on both starts and is the obvious threat after a pleasing reappearance behind Centurius at Nottingham last month. Wynyard Boy is the token choice for the minor placing.
