PROTEST RALLY won a deeper race at Musselburgh on his penultimate start and wasn't disgraced off this mark when fourth after a troubled run at Lingfield most recently. Well drawn in stall one and with 5lb claimer Cian Horgan back in the saddle, the five-year-old looks well worth another chance on these terms. The last-time-out winners Hover On The Wind, whose yard chases a hat-trick in this race, and Ziggy's Queen can fight it out for second place.
This could be a bit of a burn-up with quite a few liking to be at the front. Hover On The Wind may end up making it and should be suited by this stiff 5f, but equally so should ZIGGY'S QUEEN and she is just preferred after making all on the all-weather last time. There is a slight doubt about her on turf after two poor recent efforts, but she has good back form on the surface. Tofrida is in good form and may be third home.

UBETTERSEETHIS has shown ability and could be up to breaking his maiden at the third time of asking. Denied by just a head on his debut over 5f here last month, Craig Lidster's colt was then done no favours when hampered early on at Beverley most recently. That form still read well and his third-placed finish could be worth forgiving. As the other three with experience need to improve, notable debutants Big Fun and Lily Pearl could present the stiffest challenges this time.
FAROUGH showed enough on his debut to suggest he can win a race and he may improve enough to do that here. Ubetterseethis promised plenty on debut before disappointing at Beverley when wel backed. He was shuffled back there, but it is questionable whether that was the entire cause of his below par effort. He will like this step-up to a stiff 6f and is a big threat. Solar Cooper also ran well on debut when third here and ought to figure again.

ARUNDEL took a step forward when filling the runner-up spot on his handicap bow at Beverley recently, pulling four lengths clear of the reopposing Cangofar (third). Ed Dunlop's gelding is officially 2lb well-in and, in a moderate heat, he looks to have every chance of going one place better. Keats House was far from disgraced at Doncaster last time and is most appealing of the remainder.
ARUNDEL came four lengths clear of the third when running well at Beverley upped to this trip last time on looks well handicapped here. Keats House also improved up to the trip at Doncaster despite racing freely and can go well again. The rest have questions to answer and the most dangerous could be King's Hand on seasonal debut for a yard that does well with staying types.

MADE ALL didn't live up to his name when coming from last to scoop the prize at Catterick on his stable debut recently. It was, however, a commanding performance and may have been down to a step up in trip. With potentially more to come, he's fancied to double up under a penalty, although fellow penalised runner Agathon won't go down without a fight. Dubai Venture was a shade unfortunate when second at Beverley last time and he remains of interest from an unchanged mark.
This might be fought out between the two recent winners MADE ALL and Agathon. Preference is tentatively for the former who improved in a tongue-tie last time and for this trip. Agathon is dropping back in trip from 14f, though this is a stiff track, and may just be short of a bit of toe. Fiftyshadesaresdev had been running well prior to his last start and a visor today may galvanise him and if it does he will be a threat.

Radio Star has been knocking hard at the door recently and Ollie Sangster's filly can be expected to go close once again. That said, preference is for VIBRANT PEARL, who belied odds of 100-1 to finish second at Redcar on her debut earlier this month. The winner, albeit much the best that day, has since filled the runner-up spot in a handicap from a mark of 85, so any progress might suffice here. Market support for the 125,000-euro purchase Kodi's Queen would be noteworthy.
Vibrant Pearl ran a pleasing race on her debut showing plenty of enthusiasm despite still looking to be getting things together as she wandered around and even stumbled late. She should be much wiser this time and has a big chance, but preference is just for the experienced RADIO STAR who was well backed when just failing in a handicap last time. Her form is rock solid and that is persuasive. Maddelina ran a nice race on her only start at 2yo and can obviously improve, but is off quite a break.

There doesn't appear to be bundles of early pace on show and that could benefit HIGHLAND OLLY, who made all of the running to score at Nottingham a fortnight ago. Berthed well in stall one, he might be tough to reel in once again if adopting similar tactics. Captain Corelli returns from a 241-day absence in search of a five-timer and is respected, while Commander Of Life is considered too.
Captain Corelli is on a five-timer and will have his supporters, but has shot up the weights and is off a long break so he is opposable. Highland Olly is only up 2lb for his win last time at Nottingham and that means is should be right in the mix, but he has run below par every time he has encountered fast ground so preference is for MOUNT KING who while disappointing as favourite last time had run well in his previous two starts and may well come back to this form here.
