BLAME THE JOCKEY has been contesting hot allowance contests of late and is expected to regain the winning thread dropping back into claiming company. The four-time course winner can score at the expense of Pretty Mr. D and Bake Shop.
MYTH MASTER, winner of a starter allowance contest here in June, makes plenty of appeal based on his latest third-placed effort in a more valuable race. Park Avenue Appeal and Beau Who are other interesting contenders.
TASUNKE WITCO was just a nose away from making a winning start last month and can gain compensation with slight improvement here. Mr Coupons was fourth behind a future winner on his racecourse bow and looks the biggest danger, while any market support for the $450,000 yearling purchase Ras Abrouq has to be noted.
HEY KIDDO was a close fifth when last sighted in a more valuable race in August and arrives fresh from a short break. The hat-trick seeking She Craves Capital steps up in class but shouldn't be written off and Power Of Snunner would be tough to stop if fully wound up for her reappearance.
GRIS HOMBRE has been steadily improving with each start and this looks a good opportunity for him to open his account. Personal Start should go well dropped back in trip while Do It For Fun has solid place claims.
MODEST MOUSE has by far the strongest form and couldn't have been more impressive over a mile at this venue when successful last time, so he is impossible to oppose. Call Tiger and Junebugred can chase him home in that order.
KANDI WITH A K stayed on in determined fashion to open her account over 6f here latest and with this longer trip not a concern, she gets the vote to follow up. Other last-time-out winner Sibbys Girl warrants respect, although the dropped-in-class Voler Les Coeurs is feared most.
ANGEL CODE has impressively notched up a double recently and she can strike again whilst the iron is hot. Spooky Lady holds She's Hot Wired (third) and Zippity Goomba (fourth) on her latest second and demands respect, while Pixie Dust also holds claims having her sights lowered.
CHEROKEE PASS struggled to get competitive in a stronger race at Monmouth last time but looks a danger to all now his sights have been lowered. Giroux and Old Pueblo are the pair expected to put up most resistance.
