ANGEL IN HEAVEN scored in good style over this track and trip earlier in the month and although this represents a slight step up in grade, she is likely to take all the beating if resuming in the same form. Bettern Biscuits has a run of frustrating seconds to her name but should return to winning ways before long. Faith's Way is another to consider closely.
The lightly raced PALM BEACH STORY has been running well in decent company and is expected to appreciate the drop back to a bare mile. She can emerge on top, ahead of Orbiston Parva, who went close in a slightly weaker contest here last month. Princess Bling has also shown more than enough to be of interest.
A competitive heat but RATHOR has won three of his last five starts and has only once finished out of the frame in 13 appearances at this track. He seems sure to run another excellent race and can get the better of the similarly experienced Red Planet. A Dynamite Time is less exposed than the aforementioned duo and could be the surprise package.
BOLD ATTITUDE was slightly disappointing when favourite here last month but he only went down by a neck and remains totally unexposed after only four career starts. Ontothenextone has been running consistently well in defeat and should give the selection something to think about. Credit Squeeze looks best of the remainder.
CREME DELA SUANCES takes a significant drop in class and considering she's only been narrowly denied in her last three starts, the filly is expected to prove hard to beat tonight. Orenda holds a fair chance on the pick of her recent efforts, but Tickling Tori, another eased in grade, could pose a bigger threat to the selection.
SHOWMANSHIP only tired late on when eventually finishing third at Monmouth late last month and he looks certain to appreciate the drop back to 7f here. Gimme A Winner flashed home late to take third over an extended 5f last time and should also be suited by the change in distance. Gentleman Jim is another for the shortlist.
RUNAWAY BRUTE doesn't make much appeal on recent form figures but he is tackling lesser rivals tonight and could be capable of taking full advantage. Perky Juge is in excellent heart and should give another good account of himself, while Herr Mozart might be one to consider at longer odds.
SILVER PAYDAY has been performing consistently well in defeat of late and although hard to win with this year, the switch to a new track could be just what she needs. Mad Mambo is also making her debut here and must be respected, along with The Mules Sister, who was a narrow winner at Belmont last month.
Suave Jazz was in winning form when last seen but a lay-off since the middle of September makes him opposable and preference is for TAHOE WARRIOR. He was having his first outing since July when well beaten at Belmont last month and is expected to get back to his best tonight. Starship Scott and Northpoint Costas are not out of it either.
TIZ OUR DREAM stands out on the form of her close-up fourth at Laurel Park earlier in the month and a repeat performance could see her record a first career success tonight. Speedboat Sally finished well to take second over a shorter trip last time and rates the biggest danger up in distance. Private Valentine needs her best but can't be ruled out.
