THUMP has been knocking hard on the door in recent starts and can get the better of Alfar and Silly Face in this maiden claimer.
HAZY DAISY ran a head second in a similar maiden two starts back and only has to repeat that effort to land the spoils here. Maryland Bird and Sweetness 'n Sugar are also noted.
JUDI'S JOY has been contesting better maidens than this in recent starts and can take full advantage of the drop in grade. Getup Stayup and Kid Gallagher are also given a chance.
LARCO MAR made a debut full of promise when only narrowly touched off at this track last month and normal improvement should see him prove hard to beat this time round. Majestic Robert and Court Note are taken to chase the selection home.
FAR OUT WEST appeared to have a little bit left in the tank when winning at this track last month and he might be worth sticking with for the time being. Prodigious and Power Nap are feared most.
SMARTY MR D has some solid form in the book already and should still have plenty more to offer given the relatively few miles he has on the clock. Mr. Hamilton and Proud Flyer are feared most.
A few of these hold claims but the most solid option might prove to be the highly consistent FAST FLYING RUMOR. Pool Winner was a winner last time and warrants obvious respect with Rapid Dan another for calculations.
A PLACE TO SHINE is on a hat-trick and can take the beating ahead of Whistling Straits, who has closely linked form with Disco Rose. Little Cyclone could go well at a likely decent price.
APPEALINGMAGIC has been in great form of late, ridden out to win comfortably here four weeks ago to claim a second victory in as many months. Jojo's Gal is entitled to respect taking a drop in class, while Cash Is Prime is interesting back from a short break.
