Verdict

NELLIE FOX was denied by the shortest of margins over 5 1/2f here latest and compensation beckons in what looks a lesser affair. Castle Black was well back in fifth that day and the biggest danger looks to be Animated.

Verdict

SLAMINATOR has been knocking hard on the door and deserves to be let in today. Hekla was a couple of lengths back in third when they met last month and looks the biggest danger, along with last-time-out second Neutronstar.

AWESOME DANCER is hard to oppose following his impressive win in a slightly better grade at Penn National last month. If El Posole were to bounce back to form then the four-year-old would be a big danger, while Kovarro is also considered.

A few capable of getting involved here but MASTER YANK made it two wins on the bounce here over this track and trip last month and he could be worth sticking with. Thunder Lord is another who has been in good form of late with Model Citizen also respected.
