Pias Moonlite is dropping in class here and Vengadora has been knocking on the door, but the preference is for QUARRY'S PRINCESS. He represents a hot yard and made the frame in a similar event latest.
Some likely newcomers in the line-up but experience counts for a lot in these races and it might pay to give HANNETUDE another chance, especially as the return to 6f should be in her favour. Nicki Mig is better than her latest effort would suggest, but Broadway Gal appeals as a bigger danger.
SIAMESE CAT failed to justify favouritism when second over 6f here late last month, but connections appear to have found a decent opportunity for her to atone for that disappointment. Samandie is the logical alternative, while Gale Storm has an obvious chance on the pick of her form.
Having won a similar contest here almost three weeks ago, Edit It warrants plenty of respect while Proud Megan cannot be dismissed with any confidence, but the vote goes to PARTY TIP who has hit the crossbar in her last three races and must surely go one better soon.
Returning from a short break, SAND GIRL is fancied to take full advantage of a big drop in grade. Unexposed Birdy Lou should be monitored for support on her first appearance since February, while Rebel Rouser hinted at a return to form when fourth over 5f here on his debut for current connections.
So Long Johnny has claims on her best form but was very disappointing last time and may be best watched and preference is for TAKE MY LEAVE who should be all the better for his recent outing (her first since June) and has claims on the pick of her form. Make Me Shine has shown some speed and could fare better at this shorter trip.
Knock Again is responsible for recording the highest speed at this evening's trip but will need to improve on his recent success, in a weaker event, if the follow-up is to be on the agenda tonight. Federale also won last time out (over 6.5f) but has to overcome a poor post position and with that in mind, preference is for WAYWARD LAD. His latest success came from tonight's stall and the combination of the return to dirt and drop in grade have only enhanced his chances.
Bob Seeger and Jose Flores are both in red-hot form at present and looks to have a leading contender in GOOD LUCK WISH. If taking to the turf, she will prove a tough nut to crack out of the advantageous rail post. Scott Lake's runner's always warrant the utmost respect and Indy U S A cannot be ruled out of completing a double on the back of a success in better company at Delaware Park a week ago, while Lilmisinocentdonna may need this outing but is entitled to improve on her third career start.
MASTER WOO was clearly the fastest last time out when making the frame in a higher grade over 7f, the step up in trip should suit and he can capitalise on the drop in class. Greeley's Grove bettered Darksideoftheforce when filling the runner-up berth in a similar event here earlier this month and they can push the selection closest.
