The Keith Dalgleish yard do pretty well with their selective runners under NH rules and now introduce useful staying handicapper Mirsaale to the jumping game. The son of Sir Percy receives plenty of weight from the penalised Irish trio and could well prove good enough first time up, but JOHN MONASH could represent a touch of value as he has been deserted by Richard Johnson in favour of stable companion Dove Mountain. The selection admittedly has little room for further improvement but does boast an excellent track record and Darragh Maher claims what could prove a vital 7lb.
Talented Flat performer MIRSAALE is expected to take to hurdling at the first time of asking for his shrewd yard and, in the process account for a field who are either moderate or carrying significantly more weight. John Monash falls into the latter category but demands respect based on a course record of 12211, while his stablemate Dove Mountain might have a bit more to come.

WYFIELD ROSE has to prove her effectiveness on slower ground should the rains fall but has looked an improved mare of late and can repel the handicapper's latest offensive of a 10lb hike for her most recent success. Baysbrown has proved his ability on both good and soft ground so looks one to have onside as he remains lightly raced and stays this trip well, as evidenced by a close second to Tantamount last time. There is probably more to come from Thyne For Gold too and last-time winner Vision De La Vie also merits shortlist inclusion.
BAYSBROWN produced his best effort in a soft-ground C&D handicap last month, so the treat of rain won't inconvenience him, and he could get the run of things up top in what looks a weakly-contested race on paper. Laird of Monksford hasn't shown much, but it would be dangerous to write him off on just his third start for Gordon Elliott, while This Thyne Jude is probably worth another crack at 3m.

The jury remains out on So Satisfied over larger obstacles and he does not have the easiest of tasks off top weight, although it's too early to be dismissive of him. Overtures is probably unfortunate not to have broken his duck under Rules and has an obviously strong chance after two more than satisfactory chasing performances, but NEFYN BAY revealed a willing attitude to oblige over C&D last time and is at home on all ground types. He has a good wins to runs ratio and can improve his record here. Bright Prospect and Jackofhearts both need to improve.
OVERTURES has shown a clear aptitude for chasing in a pair of maiden events in Ireland in recent weeks and can improve for the switch to handicaps and provide the Gordon Elliott/Richard Johnson combination with yet another winner here. Last month's C&D winner Nefyn Bay looks the obvious one to give him most to think about.

Green Zone appeared to score with plenty in hand last time and will obviously be dangerous if repeating that improved level off a 7lb higher mark. Mountainside didn't run too badly when upped to Listed grade at Market Rasen last time and should be competitive returned to the level at which he was successful on his penultimate start. RUARAIDH HUGH, back to form last time at Market Rasen, and is another of interest if backing up the run but he enjoyed a golden run of form last season and can hopefully repeat the dose. Handsome Dan houses solid each-way claims.
GREEN ZONE clearly has to back up his much-improved showing in this sphere when successful over this C&D a month ago, but there's hope he will do just that given his old Flat ability, and he hasn't had many tries over this sort of trip. Malin Bay, Mountainside and Handsome Dan head the list of dangers.

DR MOLONEY has looked far from straightforward the last twice but is given another chance with the champion jockey taking the ride. He undoubtedly has the ability to land a contest of this nature and is weighted to reverse placings with Presented on their latest running here. Kilbree Kid is a likely beneficiary should the selection not see things through, although any money for Present Lodger on his return to action would be significant. He looked a useful chaser in the making in early 2015 and would go close here if returning to that level.
There was a suspicion DR MOLONEY wasn't seen to best effect having conceded first run behind Presented on his latest outing, and he could well be up to reversing that form here and gets the nod. Kilbree Kid and the aforementioned Presented are 2 very live threats, however.

Westinmare and ROSIE FIFTY ONE were only separated by a length here last time and the latter is a hopeful choice to reverse placings as that latest effort represented a significant improvement on her uninspiring debut run. She could prove good enough if coming on again for the run for a shrewd Irish yard. Bannow Storm and Just Milly have both revealed a fair level of form in similar company with the latter preferred of the pair on the back of a decent run at Uttoxeter last month.
WESTINMARE will undoubtedly be suited by further ideally, but looks solid enough in the context of this race, and she gets the nod to return to winning ways. Just Milly and Bannow Storm can give her most to do.
