WILHELM VONVENSTER will attract plenty of attention given his connections and the five-year-old, who made a pleasing introduction when fourth in a Newcastle bumper in November, appears to have been found the perfect race to make his debut over hurdles. Hopefully a hood will help Mister Manduro jump better than he did at Hexham, where unseating Craig Nichol at the third, while Ventura Dragon is worth a market check at least ahead of his NH debut.
WILHELM VONVENSTER's strength in the betting on his bumper debut in the autumn suggests he's well regarded by the Nicky Richards team and he might be worth another chance now hurdling on his return. Ventura Dragon's Flat ability suggests he should be up to doing something in a race like this now hurdling, while Zamarkhan should figure if recapturing the level he showed when second at Kelso.

Get Out The Gate won gamely on his chasing debut at Ayr recently and he should go well under a penalty, but conceding 6lb to JERSEY BEAN, who is currently rated 9lb higher than him over hurdles, will be no easy task. Oliver Sherwood's charge boasts some smart form over the smaller obstacles and the feeling has always been that he would be even better when tackling fences. Teddy Tee is no mug but he may have to settle for third on this occasion.
GET OUT THE GATE really impressed with his jumping when making a successful chase debut at Ayr last week and will be a tough nut to crack if coping with the quick turnaround, although Jersey Bean is rated higher than him over hurdles so should be up to making a race of it if taking to fences.

The form of LOAD UP TIME's C&D success last month took a nice boost when the runner-up struck next time and, although an 8lb rise looks a little harsh, he could follow up for top connections. Kajaki is two from three over timber and has posted a couple of solid efforts on the Flat more recently. He rates the biggest threat ahead of Green Zone, a five-time course winner who has very little weight on his back with Danny McMenamin claiming a valuable 7lb.

If he fails to make the line-up today then CHARLIE SNOW ANGEL, who has been running consistently well of late, could be the main beneficiary. Roll Of Thunder edges out Highland Peak to be the pick of the remainder.
LITTLE STEVE capitalised on a reduced mark readily over timber at Worcester (fixed brush obstacles) a week ago and was just as good, if not better, as a chaser in Ireland, so there's every chance he can follow up from the same mark.
