Slight preference is for LAKE SHORE DRIVE in pursuit of the hat-trick after his C&D win last month and, although an 8lb rise makes life tougher, it shouldn't prevent another bold showing. Despite having to give plenty of weight away to her rivals, it is difficult to oppose AYR OF ELEGANCE in her current form. She followed up a win at Stratford in July with a decent second under a penalty 11 days later, and a reproduction of either of those efforts should be good enough in this company. Topkapi Star looks most likely to follow the selection home if none the worse for taking a tumble here last month, while Misscarlett is fancied to finish ahead of Ten Gs.
