FREEDOM MISSILE is the only horse with any track experience in this field and it may pay to stick with him this evening. He was sixth on debut after going off quickly but should come on for the experience. Macho Queen looked fairly impressive on her last workout while New Domestic Lady is another who has been showing signs of potential and should be respected.
This looks an open field and plenty of live chances but the selection is for Sandra Slivka's charge WISHFUL WOMAN. She won a claimer over an extended mile back in May and with the stable in good form it can pay to stick with her. Boffo is the main danger, she's ultra-consistent and has won on four of her last six appearances over a similar trip. Taylors Irish is another with claims.
HOLIDAY BOY won with plenty in hand on his last appearance over an extended mile at this track. He has looked in good heart this year and he should be on the premises. Enigmatic has been knocking on the door in recent weeks and it would be no surprise to see him give a good account of himself tonight while Killarney Bay is a danger at this level.
FRANK THE TANK just got up to take the honours over an extended mile at this track recently. He showed plenty of speed in the early stages and despite coming under some late pressure he found enough to get up for the win. Brave Tiger has looked in good heart since returning to action this year. He won a $45,000 allowance race last year and is a leading contender. Royal Clash may not be far away.
Bluebird Quartet has looked in great shape recently. He won with plenty in hand over C&D back in March and has since followed that up with a success over 6f. He should certainly be in the shake-up but a tentative verdict goes to BLACK MAGIC MAMA. She has won her last two, over a slightly longer trip, but looks more than capable of continuing her streak. Ms Mia might has each-way claims.
A handful in with a good shout here including Elvis Valentino, Coco Point and Westend Tiger. Coco Point is going for the hat-trick after two successes over 6f while Westend Tiger needs to overcome a lengthy absence but has a second over C&D to his name. The selection is for SAVATRON. He is yet to finish out of the places in his four career starts and won over C&D on debut last December.
