Elusive Hawk is entitled to strip fitter for his successful comeback run at Yarmouth last month (first run since December last year) and should put up a good fight, while New Leyf sports a visor for the first time and looks to have solid place credentials.

Nafura has performed honourably in each of her four starts so far this year and warrants respect with cheekpieces back on today (worn for her latest victory in November last year), but slight preference is for John Gosden's MARYWELL. This daughter of Selkirk certainly wasn't stopping when landing her maiden over an extended 1m2f at Warwick almost three weeks ago and doesn't look badly treated first time in handicap company. Aktia was given a fine ride by Kieren Fallon to strike at Salisbury last time but possibly needs to raise her game to go in again.
Aktia is improving all the time, and can confirm Salisbury placings with Calatrava Cape on worse terms. Marywell is bred to be smart at this trip and is another to consider.

Experience can often count for a lot in this type of event and, with five runs under his belt, SIR REGINALD could prove difficult to beat. Richard Fahey's improving colt stepped up on a third place effort in the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes when fifth behind his potentially top-class stablemate Wootton Bassett at York last time and a repeat performance is sure to see him bang there today. The form of Roman Eagle's debut success at Sandown in July looks rock solid and he rates the biggest threat, while Oracle arrives here on the back of a game success at the Curragh and cannot be overlooked.
Plenty of interesting juveniles in this sales race, with Mubtadi taken to land a big payday for connections. Sir Reginald seems sure to go well upped to 7f, while Sandown winner Roman Eagle leads a host of exciting once-raced colts including Madawi and Barney Rebel.

PARVAAZ clearly had his fair share of problems last year but is beginning to make up for lost time now. The Michael Jarvis-trained colt produced his best effort yet when striking over 7f on the all-weather at Kempton a couple of weeks ago and this extra furlong is unlikely to cause any problems. Barring a below par effort at Newbury in July, Major Phil has been a model of consistency this year and should be on the premises once again, while Squall clearly has plenty of ability and could go close if the first-time visor does the trick.
Parvaaz is a horse very much on the up, but still has a slight doubt about his stamina over 1m, and Major Phil looks a safer option. Viva Vettori and Gaily Noble are both better than their form figures suggest, and can play a part.
