THE LOVELY MAN occupied the runner-up berth four times over hurdles for Colm Murphy including when staying on over 2m4f and, following a lengthy absence, made a bright start for Gavin Cromwell when third at Naas last month. He should benefit from that run and hopefully will stay this trip. Castle Field Boy won in good style on his penultimate start over this distance at Fairyhouse and it's probably best to put a line through his latest start at Cork when pulled up after making a bad mistake. Onethreefivenotout, Bigbraveboy and last year's winner Verdant Place are others to consider.
