A very unappealing qualified riders race to get us started here today. (3) BANOUSH looks the best of a very average lot. The selection at least showed something last time when runner up at Chateaubriant and a repeat of that should be good enough to beat (1) KING NONANTAIS who has some decent back form. (4) DESERT WARRIOR and (6) DANCE THE BLUES have minor chances.

Hank Grewe is in absolutely astonishing form in his native Germany in his march towards his first title there. He is also very adept when he travels his horses to this country. He can collect this two year old maiden with his (4) MANNIX. This one showed plenty of promise on debut at Deauville and can build on it here. (7) YOUMDOR is very interesting being a half brother to Anodor. (12) AFTER RAIN SUN and (3) THURSTAN have hopes too.
