VINO'S CHOICE warmed up for this with a solid second in jumpers' bumper company at Newcastle last month and the course winner could add to his tally in Scotland for Lucinda Russell. The nine-year-old was successful here in November off 6lb lower, but looks progressive and won't mind this step up in distance. Scottish Accent has found one too good the last twice, while O'Hanrahan Bridge is better than he showed at Ayr in November and might bounce back.

The lightly-raced Prince Kayf appears the pick of Keith Dalgleish's pair and the form of his 2019 French Furze victory over Imperial Alcazar now looks extremely smart with that rival impressing at Warwick recently. The seven-year-old makes his handicap bow in this and has to be taken seriously. Mount Mews ran well for a long way in the Lanzarote at Kempton, before getting outpaced as the race developed, and the 10-year-old could appreciate the return to further, while Irish raider Whirling Dervish is interesting in cheekpieces, which he wore when on the level.

THIRD TIME LUCKI regained the winning thread in emphatic fashion at Kempton on Boxing Day and Dan Skelton's Champion Bumper fourth has looked the consummate professional over timber so far. The only blemish on his hurdles CV came when given too much to do in a muddling affair at Prestbury Park earlier in the season and he is likely to complete his Cheltenham Festival preparation with the minimum of fuss here. Tommy's Oscar completed a three-timer when successful over course and distance last time and arrives in good form. However, Ann Hamilton's six-year-old has 11lb to find with the selection on official figures and may have to settle for a minor role here. The unbeaten Bareback Jack is another who will have to raise his game to overturn the selection, but has done little wrong so far and warrants a place on the shortlist.

HILLS OF CONNEMARA has been raised 6lb for scoring over a similar trip at Newcastle last time and could feasibly follow up to notch a double.
