BOHEMIAN SPIRIT returns to hurdling today after a couple of wins over the bigger obstacles and Nicky Richards' charge, who is pretty well treated over hurdles can complete the hat-trick. Silver Seeker won a poor race at Newcastle last time, but did it in some style and should be well suited by the underfoot conditions today, as should the Martin Pipe-trained Killer Cat, who has more improvement still to come.
GUDASMUM can score here on her debut under rules. She finished runner-up at Alnwick on her latest start between the flags, has been pretty consistent of late, and this moderate contest shouldn't take too much winning. Mydante was also placed on her last start, showing a return to form, and she could well be in the shake-up, while Jupiter's Fancy holds Albatros on their running behind A Boy Named Sioux last month, and should make the frame.
The ex-French Flat winner ORTOLAN BLEU stepped-up on his promising Aintree debut when scoring in good style on soft ground at Wetherby last time. He should be even better on this firmer surface and should take all the beating. Dear Villez is another interesting French recruit, who won on his British debut and must be considered, while three-time Flat winner in Ireland Premier Dane was well fancied on his hurdling bow and has lots of improvement still to come.
Bellaney Jewel improved for her debut over fences when finishing third at Catterick last time, and should be right in the mix here if reproducing that, but may not have the pace to deal with decent hurdler MANX ROYAL. Martin Pipe's seven-year-old makes his chasing bow here and looks to have every chance of scoring at the first attempt, while the talented but disappointing Hot Weld needs to brush up on his jumping.

Good young claimer Liam Heard is unbeaten on NIPPY DES MOTTES and the pair can complete a four-timer here. Paul Nicholls' charge, who won with a bit in hand at Wincanton last month, can defy a 5lb penalty to get the better of main danger Acambo. This ex-German Flat winner lost his unbeaten record in this country when slightly disappointing at Leicester last time, but will appreciate this better ground and should go well. Hat-trick seeking Saif Sareea beat Motive over C&D in December and this pair should also be considered.
Another Club Royal beat Gangsters R Us by 13l and Renvyle by 24l when scoring in good style over C&D last month and should confirm placings with that pair. The handicapper has raised Ginger McCain's charge 13lb, however, and that just may stop him following-up. NOT A TRACE is still a maiden but looks a winner waiting to happen, and Sue Bradburne's seven-year-old can deservedly get off the mark today.
Sue Bradburne could complete a quick-fire double here with MISTER JUNGLE. This nicely-bred individual, who made a pleasing start when finishing runner-up over C&D on his racecourse debut, can improve and go one better today. Jamie Spencer is an eye-catching booking on Irish raider Farmer Brown, while Charlie Swan's Gripit N Tipit should come on for his debut run and has the assistance of Mick Fitzgerald in the saddle.
