In an open race the marginal preference is for LINE OF SUNSHINE, who was far from disgraced when finishing fourth in a stronger maiden over C&D two starts ago. A low draw did not help him on that occasion and stall 13 should be more beneficial today. Black Mark improved for his debut experience when finishing second at Jebel Ali last weekend and he should not be discounted on his turf debut. Lake Causeway is a frustrating 14-race maiden who could go well once again, although the drop in trip is a slight concern. Others to note are Torrkee and Bin Muhaarar.
LINE OF SUNSHINE is fancied to put poor run on dirt behind him returned to turf and can come out on top. Torrkee gets the nod among the others, while Lake Causeway is another that could go well.

He has won three times from 6f to 1m. A winner here over 6f (good) earlier this month, beating Miqyaas by 1 1/4l.
A case can be made for all of these but the vote goes to MOQARRAB, who accounted for a decent field when winning over 7f here in December. On his most recent outing, the seven-year-old made the frame in a similar race to this over C&D three weeks ago and a reproduction of that level of form today would give him a big chance. Desert Peace should not be underestimated for top connections, while Celtic Prince and Royal Mews are others to consider.
DESERT PEACE ran poorly last time but is taken to bounce back quickly for his in-form yard. Moqarrab is most likely the chief opposition, while Shanty Star commands a closer look as well.

KING OF ARMS found 7f too sharp on his UAE debut here last month, but he caught the eye when arguably an unlucky third over 1m2f a couple of weeks later. With a clear run, the son of Kingman may well have won on that occasion and he can make amends this afternoon. Ursa Minor made the frame in a similar race here a fortnight ago and should go well once again, although a 4lb rise in the ratings is a concern. Boston George may improve for this step up in trip and he should not be underestimated, while Zero To A Hundred is another to note.
KING OF ARMS ran his best race for some time here last month and is taken to build on that with victory. Ursa Minor is the other to focus on, while Boston George has place prospects.

Dalaalaat arguably sets the standard based on his third-placed finish over an extended 1m1f here a month ago, although he has disappointed twice over C&D this season. With that in mind, preference is for ANIZZAH, who put in a promising display when third over an inadequate trip at Jebel Ali last time and he was not disgraced when last seen over this track and trip in January. Mulfit is more than capable of making the frame if breaking well from a wide draw, while an easy lead would make Attribution hard to catch.
MULFIT could be worth chancing. Dalaalaat is hard to ignore, while Knockacullion is another that shouldn't be ruled out.

Echo Point is bound to be popular having made the frame in all five of his previous starts and he was only beaten a neck by Al Madhar over C&D a month ago. That said, it has to be a concern that he has filled second place in his last four starts and preference is for TELL ME THUNDER. The lightly-raced son of Night Of Thunder was narrowly denied by Castlebar over a slightly shorter trip here two weeks ago, but the winner had the run of the race on that occasion and there is a 3lb swing in the weights today. The aforementioned Al Madhar should not be discounted, although he looked an awkward ride when behind the selection last time, while Gabr should appreciate this drop in trip.
ECHO POINT is much lower mileage than most of these and can notch another Meydan winner for the Appleby/Buick partnership. Rastrelli can emerge second best, while Recordman also seems unlikely to be far away.

TAAMOL was not ideally suited by the drop back to 6f here a couple of weeks ago, although he was not disgraced on that occasion. Prior to that, the eight-year-old had finished fourth in a competitive event over C&D behind Godolphin's progressive Silent Film. He should be able to get a prominent early position from stall four this afternoon and that could be crucial in a race where a lot of the leading contenders like to be held up. Magical Land, who finished in front of the selection two starts ago, is one of those who will need luck in running. If he does get a clear run then he has every chance of being Mike de Kock's first UAE winner this season. Twaasol is an interesting UK import having won at Ascot when last seen in September. Will To Win has the form to go very well but the step up in trip is a worry, while Al Salt and Almoreb have solid each-way claims.
TWAASOL has to concede race fitness to most of his rivals but should be on the premises if ready to roll for his new yard. Magical Land is the pick of the the others, while Bawaasil also commands a second look.
