He warrants respect tacking hurdles for the first time, as does Legal Beagle, who was well fancied when fifth on debut in a bumper at Ayr. My Old Gold is best treated at these weights and warrants respect, but with the advantage of a recent run under her belt, CASABLANCA MIX shades the verdict. She certainly wasn't disgraced when taking on the boys on her comeback at Chepstow last month and stepping up in trip, at a course she likes, the eight-year-old should go close off an unchanged mark of 150. Roses Poses was third on stable debut for the Skelton team at Southwell in July and makes some appeal after a break now stepped up significantly in distance. Just Marvin was successful at Uttoxeter in September and hasn't shaped badly off higher marks the last twice, but this can go the way of Fergal O'Brien and PROJECT MARS. Ballydun Oscar doesn't have many miles on the clock for an eight-year-old and is worth a second look now with Nicky Martin after 730 days off the track. Prussia With Love is better than what she displayed at Hexham last month and could do better now wearing first-time cheekpieces, though she isn't the best handicapped in this field and perhaps C&D winner MOIDORE can add to his CV.
