ARAQEEL hasn't been seen in almost a year now but he has some very smart form to his name from his juvenile campaign, most notably when finishing third to Awtaad on his final start at Leopardstown in October. His well-being has to be taken on trust but he is clearly head and shoulders above these on what we have seen so far. British import Zauffaly was second at Chepstow back in May and rates the obvious threat ahead of debut fourth Circuit Breaker.

WOODFORD ISLAND improved steadily over hurdles last winter and ran a cracker when third in a competitive handicap at Leopardstown over Christmas. He is expected to make a useful chaser and will love the prevailing underfoot conditions. Kerrieonvic is another chasing debutant with some decent hurdles form to his name and it appears significant that Davy Russell gets back on him, while Kilkishen had run a mighty race until departing at the last at Kilbeggan and will surely go close if turning in a clear round.

He has been far from disgraced in warm handicaps the last twice and should run well, along with Bentelimar who concedes weight all round despite easing a few pounds in the handicap of late. SHANNAK did very little wrong when finishing third in a highly-competitive handicap hurdle at the Punchestown Festival back in April and with his mark protected since a subsequent 1lb rise in the weights, he could still be a well-treated animal ahead of today's return to action. Another with whom there should be races to be won is Floral Fantasy, second at Galway last time, and her progressive profile entitles her to serious consideration along with Limerick third Oscar Lantern.

STOLEN DIAMOND looked a useful prospect when building on his promising debut second at Kilbeggan by running out a most convincing winner at Bellewstown three weeks ago. Today's underfoot conditions will be markedly different to those he has encountered so far but his entry would suggest connections are confident he will give his running again.
