BATCHWORTH BLAISE gets the tentative vote here. He has run well in the blinkers on his last three starts (worn again today) and ought to give another good account now dropping in grade. Ajdaad just comes out on top on official ratings, ahead of Pipers Piping, and that pair both have claims, while it's hard to overlook Loch Fleet sporting blinkers and an eye-shield for the first time.
The waters are muddied by a potential lack of pace in this, something that is almost a pre-requisite for Pipers Piping and Ajdaad, the two likeliest winners by far. They should still be good enough to beat a field largely out of sorts and preference is for Pipers Piping whose speed for shorter will hold him in good stead.

Any market support for Discoverer on his first outing in public could well be worth noting, but SUJET BELLAGIO edges the vote. Brian Meehan's gelding has displayed a fair level of ability in both starts thus far and has shown that he handles a polytrack surface. Bronze Angel should give another good account of himself if taking to the all-weather.
Bronze Angel sets a decent standard and looks the one to beat if ready to go after a break. Leenavesta ran well on her polytrack debut last time and should be thereabouts once more, while Discoverer makes most appeal of the newcomers on paper.

STORM RUNNER will be fancied to complete the hat-trick this afternoon. A couple of workmanlike wins at Kempton recently will have left him brimming with confidence and a further 5lb rise in the handicap is unlikely to be enough to stop him. Zaheeb looks the obvious danger after his comfortable Kempton victory, while Ice Cold Bex is certainly no forlorn hope.
Ice Cold Bex is entitled to make his presence felt once more back in a handicap, but he isn't the most reliable, so preference is given to the hat-trick seeking Storm Runner.

It could pay to side with LACONICOS in this open-looking heat. He emerged with plenty of credit from both starts last month and a repeat of his nose second at Lingfield last time should see him in the shake-up once more. Avon Supreme has put a trio of solid efforts together now and must enter calculations, while Red Flash ran a cracker on this surface at Wolverhampton latest and looks to have plenty going for him.
Avon Supreme once again showed she was capable of capturing a race of this nature when just failing over C&D recently and can get the job done here. Red Flash and Resplendent Alpha ought to be thereabouts if seeing out this longer trip and both could pose a bigger threat than Laconicos.

Prince Of Thebes must go close if in the same mood as when a close second over C&D last time, while Corrib has each-way claims.
Idol Deputy finally got his head in front last time and having got the done job done with relative ease is fancied to follow up. Regal Rave and Laser Blazer are suggested each-way alternatives, the latter an unexposed sort.

HIGHLAND HARVEST gets the vote to land a seventh course win. This represents an easier assignment than when he finished down the field at Kempton last time and his last three visits here have resulted in two wins and a placed effort. Arctic Lynx makes plenty of appeal after returning to form at Kempton the last day, while Loyal Royal has been running well in defeat recently and warrants respect off joint bottom-weight.

Rocky Elsom showed plenty when with John Oxx in Ireland and could be worth a market check first time out for David Arbuthnot, while similar comments are applicable for Forceful Appeal, who has joined Simon Dow's team from France. The vote, however, goes to CHANGE THE SUBJECT. He fully deserves to win one of these having being placed on his last four starts and appears to have been found a great opportunity here.
