Just Past Andover has a lay-off to overcome but if he runs up to his official rating of 74, he will take plenty of beating here. However, WINDFORPOWER is race-fit and he comes into this in good heart so although he is a quirky character, he might be the safest option today. Princess Cammie has shown enough to suggest she can take a hand here and she should certainly be capable of breaking her duck before long.

Atlantic Beach has dropped to a career low mark and competes in 0-60 company for the first time today so he makes the shortlist, but a chance is taken on SECRET MILLIONAIRE. He has not shown a great deal since joining Tony Carroll in September last year but he has dropped 24lb in the handicap in that time and he might be able to get competitive now.

Azrael went close off this mark at Wolverhampton latest and should have his say again, while Mr Knightley and Polar Kite other possible contenders.

RHYOLITE shaped nicely when runner-up on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton last week and if he can build on that effort, he could prove a tough nut to crack this afternoon. Black Dave (was also engaged to run here on Thursday) carries a 6lb penalty for his success in maiden company over this C&D last week but he could still be in the shake-up. Byroness won a Kempton maiden with plenty in hand last month and she makes plenty of appeal on her handicap debut off a mark of 65.

KHAWATIM justified strong market support when overcoming a troubled passage to strike over this trip at Wolverhampton latest and, with a 4lb rise deemed to be fairly lenient, he is taken to hit the target again today. Gung Ho Jack is 2lb better off with Polar Venture for a three-quarters of a length defeat over C&D earlier in the month and those placings could be reversed in this event, while Kempton scorer Alnoomaas cannot be ruled out either.

She wouldn't need to be anything special to land the spoils on her first outing in public this afternoon and being a daughter of Sakhee, she is certainly bred to have plenty of ability.
