Plenty in with chances here but preference is for ELVIRA MADIGAN, a well-bred filly. She looked green on her debut over a mile at Kempton but finished well to take fourth once the penny dropped. Anaya was just pipped over the extended mile at Wolverhampton last time but she is starting to look exposed and Leaving Alone, who finished a head in front of the selection at Kempton, looks the one for the forecast.
There's little doubt Elvira Madigan will be suited by further than 8f in due course, but she shaped pretty well on her recent introduction and is taken to outstay Leaving Alone, for whom this trip looks far enough at present. The more exposed If I Were A Boy will probably have to settle for a place.

Traphalgar was a well-held second over 1m 4f in a Wolverhampton handicap last time but won a seller and a claimer on turf before that and must be given every chance back in this grade. Dream Of Fortune can be given a chance on his best form but was beaten in a seller here last time and is passed over in favour of FULL TOSS, a good third in a valuable Newmarket handicap over this trip last time. He's yet to place in two starts on the all-weather but this is his easiest task by far.
Full Toss found it tough going in good company this year, but he showed a bit more sparkle when last seen and can take advantage of this drop in grade. Awatuki should be good for a place on his favoured surface, with Traphalgar next best.

FASHION INSIDER did little wrong when fourth in a good maiden over 7f at Newmarket on her debut and should have benefited for the experience. A 460,000 dollar purchase, she's related to a couple of smart US dirt performers. Down in class today, she could prove too good for these rivals on her all-weather debut. Newcomer Kleio is a well-bred filly and could prove the main threat while Gifted Apakay was well held over 7f here latest but can be given a chance on her debut effort over C&D.
Plenty of potential here, with Fashion Insider taken to confirm the promise of her debut at Newmarket in October. Newcomers Kleio and Concorde Kiss could prove to be big dangers.

The penny seems to have dropped for VALMINA and he looks the answer to this puzzle. He's up 4lb for his 5f Wolverhampton win but looks open to further improvement and can follow up. Transfixed scored by a nose over 7f here last month but a 6lb penalty looks likely to anchor him and Coolree Star, second over 6f at Kempton last time, makes more appeal for the forecast.
Claimer winner Sabatini doesn't look badly treated on her first start in a nursery for a new yard and she can take this from Valmina and Maoi Chinn Tire.

The selection has been plying his trade in stronger company over the past few months and can take advantage of a class drop today. Orchard Supreme is more than capable on his day and cannot be written off with any confidence.

Another tricky affair to get to the bottom of but LABISA did little wrong when just touched off over this trip at Wolverhampton last month and she seems set to strike sooner rather than later. The most interesting runner in opposition is ex-Roger Charlton inmate Trading Nation who seemed to lose his way a little last summer but remains a horse with plenty of potential on his first start for new connections. Recent runner-up Shaded Edge and Silver Guest are others to consider.
Rondeau looked unfortunate not to add to his earlier Brighton win when finding trouble at Kempton last month and is taken to gain compensation. Shaded Edge goes well here and can pick up more place money, along with Seek The Fair Land, who should appreciate the drop back from 8f.

Gunslinger seems sure to have his supporters returning to flat duty but the one who makes most appeal is AURORIAN. Richard Hannon's charge appeared to be crying out for a crack at today's longer trip when finishing a decent fourth behind Tinshu over 1m 2f at Kempton last time and having dropped to a career low mark at present, he looks one to persevere with. Mannlichen has been in cracking form of late and seems sure to make his presence felt again.
Mannlichen seems ideally suited by this 12f trip and should resume winning ways after finding one too good last time. Aurorian has yet to prove he stays beyond 10f but is bred to do so and can follow him home, ahead of Gunslinger.
