LOS CAMACHOS managed to beat off all challengers to make all at Wolverhampton earlier this week, and could be capable of repeating that feat down at seven furlongs, a trip he has performed well at in the past. Loyalty was a six-length winner over this distance at Chelmsford when last seen, but the 12-year-old has plenty to prove following nearly 10 months off the track. Drakefell is a course winner who could be suited by the step up in trip now.

Watch out for: Loyalty (3)

Assuming all is well following a 9-month lay-off, LOYALTY should have little trouble in dispatching with his 3 rivals on these terms. Drakefell is preferred to recent Wolverhampton winner Los Camachos for forecast purposes.

WATER'S EDGE was touched off by a nose over track and trip when last sighted, and if he runs to his revised rating under new pilot Ryan Moore then he'll take all of the beating. Fast Boy kept on at the one pace when fifth over 1m here on debut and is entitled to take a forward step now tackling this longer trip. The pick of the remainder may be Ralph Beckett's newcomer, Heavenly Tale, who changed hands for 140,000gns as a yearling.

Stargazer won a 2m Fast Track Qualifier at Newcastle two starts ago, with the selection held in fourth, and poses an obvious threat, while Lord George found 1m4f on the sharp side when narrowly beaten in a handicap here last time and could emerge as a live danger now returned to 2m.

Starchant has run well in defeat multiple times already and she could chase home the selection. C NOTE was not beaten far in a competitive Class 2 handicap over C&D nine days ago and he makes plenty of appeal in this less demanding event. Nonios has a good record on the all-weather and he should be in the mix once again this afternoon, while the recent Kempton winner Central City is the pick of the remaining trio.

Tactically this trappy-looking affair could play to the strengths of C NOTE, who is likely to get his own way out in front and boasts solid form claims judged on his effort in a Class 2 handicap here last week. Fayez has slipped to a workable mark and, having returned to form with creditable displays at Wolverhampton and Newcastle the last twice, he is feared most ahead of Nonios.
