Verdict

ROSY CYBORG built on a couple of bumper victories when third in a competitive hurdle race at Navan last month and, being entitled to have learnt a great deal from that experience, he could take all the beating today. One Cool Guy finished second on his hurdling debut in May and looks sure to go close here, while Paradis De Thaix is another that warrants respect.

Verdict

LOUNAOS went into a few notebooks when fourth in the Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown last season and, although somewhat disappointing at Cheltenham and Fairyhouse since, she looks a class apart in this company. Bahrain Storm won on the Flat three weeks ago and could pose the main danger on his hurdling return, while the Noel Meade-trained Island Life holds place claims.

Christie Roche's LINE BALL was travelling extremely well in the Grade 1 Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse before making a serious blunder at the third-last and eventually fading into third. He has much less on his plate this afternoon and could prove a cut above these rivals.
