THE COCKNEY SQUIRE showed improved form to finish a close third over 2m4f at Clonmel last month and there could be more to come, so he gets the vote in a moderate affair. King Eloi takes a marked drop in trip after finishing a decent fifth of 14 on his racecourse bow and that experience should have brought him on, while Force Of Habit warrants the utmost respect making his NH debut debut for Dermot Weld.
The Cockney Squire caught the eye last time, travelling really strongly for a long way, and this drop back to 2m looks ideal. He's preferred to Short Grass and King Eloi, both of whom shaped with promise on debut.

Fit from a spin on the Flat, SATU returns to the C&D over which he ran out a facile winner on his penultimate outing and, although this is tougher, he is taken to complete a hurdles double with conditions to suit again. Uncle Tom Cobley was out of his depth in a valuable Leopardstown event latest but was knocking on the door at this level previously and a bold bid looks likely today. Knocknabooly, winner of two of his three hurdle starts, was shaping nicely prior to his lengthy lay-off and is an interesting contender on his first run since December 2007.
This race revolves around Knocknabooly, who looked a really nice prospect when last seen in 2007/8 and could have too much class for these. However, the percentage call has to be to look for more recent form and Maca Rince fits the bill after a good second last time. Wilde Wit Pleasure can fare best of the rest.

JUDGE ROY BEAN has been mixing in better company and landed a Grade 3 contest over 2m in November, so could be too got for these as he drops in class. Hellyhunter put up a brave effort when bidding for a hat-trick latest, finishing fourth (of 25) despite not staying the 3m trip. He will relish the drop back in distance today and rates a serious threat. Kusadasi, back on song with an easy success at Cork last month, is another to consider.
Judge Roy Bean has his sights lowered here and it will disappointing if he's not up to making the most of such an opportunity. Hellyhunter's recent fourth was a solid run and he should place, whilst Roi Du Mee is worth another chance to improve.

Princess Marlan won well on her debut but may lack for a bit of experience in this contest, while recent winners Cloughmile and Guzzle And Go also deserve a second glance.
Killultagh Queen looks the most solid betting proposition in this mares event, with the form of her second last time working out well. Princess Margan and Guzzle An Go look open to the most improvement of the remainder.

Thomas O'Leary's gelding won well at Fairyhouse and followed that up with an excellent second to Kempes in a Grade 2 before his fall and he can gain a richly-deserved Pattern success here. Inistioge scored over slightly shorter here last time and merits respect, while Caim Hill won a Down Royal chase as he pleased, but this is a much tougher contest.
Jagoes Mills form in novice chases this season is very solid and he just gets the nod over Across The Bay, with Noel Meade's representative unexposed at this trip. Inistioge makes most appeal of the remainder.
