GREAT FIELD created a big impression on his chasing debut as he made all at Gowran in the style of a smart animal and looks another very exciting sort from the Willie Mullins yard. This French recruit remains lightly raced and full of potential, so gets the nod despite taking on classy opposition in the shape of Identity Thief and Don't Touch It. There was only a length splitting Mr Goodenough (third) and Ballycahane (fourth) at Naas and both arrive here with solid claims, while Skellig Rocks and Paper Lantern also have bits and pieces of chances. However, the one who appeals most is Patrick Neville's in-form gelding TULPAR. A difficult bumper to weigh up with all barring Cornelius Sulla yet to run under Rules. He improved from his first to second start and is ridden by the trainer's sister, while the County Kilkenny handler also saddles two more interesting runners in Us And Them and High Tide, both steered by top amateurs. Backintheboom held every chance when falling two-out on his sole start between the flags, but a chance is taken on WADALANI. Dermot Weld is often the man to turn to when trying his hand in this sphere and the son of Dalakhani is certainly bred to have plenty of ability, his dam being a full sister to Group 3 scorer White Rose.
