TOMBSTONE is very well treated at these weights and could prove a tough nut to crack now dropping out of Graded company. Oscars Den doesn't have many miles on the clock for an 11-year-old and ran right up to his best when winning at Navan two weeks ago. He rates the biggest threat ahead of Count Simon, a stablemate of the selection who has been knocking on the door.
TOMBSTONE ran no sort of a race in the Irish Champion Hurdle here last month, but this represents a significant drop in class and he should prove a tough nut to crack. Stablemate Count Simon looks up against it at the weights and Oscars Den will finds this tougher than when landing a Navan handicap a fortnight ago, which leaves Three Stars as the most viable option for forecast purposes.

Licklighter has some solid placed efforts to his name and can show up well again in a first-time hood, but preference is for the less exposed THE RED MENACE. The dual bumper scorer ran a blinder on his latest start over timber at Punchestown, finishing third behind subsequent Dublin Racing Festival winner and current Martin Pipe favourite Dallas Des Pictons, and a similar level of performance will make him tough to beat. Timber House looks next best.
LICKLIGHTER has had more opportunities than his six rivals, but he's shown enough to suggest that a race of this nature should be within his grasp. Denis Hogan's charge is marginally preferred to The Red Menace, who was third behind the useful Dallas Des Pictons at Punchestown last time. Timber House should build on his promising recent Rules debut and is best of the rest.

DAKOTA MOIRETTE was in the process of running a huge race when a last-fence faller (hampering Aint Dunne Yet, who runs in the previous contest) at Fairyhouse recently and, providing that nasty experience hasn't dented his confidence, he looks sure to go close. In the same colours, Monatomic warrants respect following his runner-up effort at Naas, and Jett and Teacher's Pet add further spice to the event.
Though MONATOMIC has been passed over by Jack Kennedy in favour of stablemate Dakota Moirette, he produced a career-best effort in a strong Naas handicap last weekend and will take some stopping if at least matching that form. Dakota Moirette is accorded plenty of respect, but he needs to brush up on his jumping and Ask Nile, who has performed with credit the last twice, is feared most.

THE CHURCH GATE impressively notched a Fairyhouse/course double over hurdles at the back end of 2018 and he makes plenty of appeal switching to fences off a mark 6lb lower than his revised timber rating. Witness Of Fashion won this last year and only found one too good at Fairyhouse most recently, while School Lane wouldn't be without a chance if putting his best foot forward.
The most appealing of these by some way is THE CHURCH GATE, who landed a couple of big-field handicap hurdles earlier in the season and looks well-treated back in this sphere following a break. Witness of Fashion is 1 lb lower than when winning this race 12 months ago and is next on the list following a solid effort at Fairyhouse. School Lane and Shanklys Dawn both make each-way appeal.

He is certainly bred for the job as a full-brother to She's A Star, who was successful in this sphere for Noel Meade.
Given that those with experience haven't shown much, the newcomers are likely to dominate and DEWCUP could be the pick of the trio in question. He boasts a decent jumps pedigree and confidence behind him in the betting would look significant. Sixshooter is also appealing on paper and may be next best ahead of Soviet Pimpernel.
